Good vid Tex. I have an African walking stick I used to carry when, go figure, walking. I struck an old decrepit dead fall tree with it and POP! The head came right off...not indestructible. I have had one inch alder that I could beat bricks apart with that stood up longer. My point being, I think the shock/vibration resistance of the wood insert is higher than the slower bendy qualities of polypropylene

Great idea Tex . Cold steel should make a Cardin fiber or poly style handle for the spears. Cus wood breaks and their walking sticks and bats can get run over by cars and still keep at it. I would send them an email or letter regarding this... You could be sittin on a million dollar idea great video
