I thought this was lame... I got the impression that she's just trying to show off her nails in this video. She didn't really show anything special with the bottle caps, just a pair of hair clips, and she left too many questions unanswered (like where to get the clips she used, since she mentioned their unique foam on the inside that grips the hair, or how about what kinds of paper can be used, etc.) for a real how-to video. I saw nothing I don't see everyday in the shop windows dwntwn Portlnd
Hello,Thanks for the wonderful ideas. But i have a problem i tried the paper glaze and it didn't dry clear, it was white. What can i do to prevent that or is there something else i can use? Thanks Jeanette

@txnini72 hello, i heard about your dilemma, you can try using Round Clear Epoxy Bottle Cap Seals Stickers, you just place them on top of your image. they're permanent, clean, water resistant, anti-aging, and they're simple. you won't have to wait for them to dry unlike the paper glaze.
@absolutelyhandmade Same here! When I try to seal them, the picture smears and turns pink! its starting to drive the heck out of me, have you figured it out yet?

Do you use special paper to print the bottle cap images on? Because I bought a BUNCH of image pages, and printed them on regular paper, and once I put the varnish on over top the ink bled really badly... Or... Maybe its the varnish itsself, I saw you used a paper glaze.
I just wanted to double check that the ink doesn't run if you print the images on photo paper that prints on an ink jet photo printer instead of a laser printer. Can you confirm this for me? Thanks!
Great video...I want to make custom bottle caps to go on hair bows. I want to make really nice and durable ones. Some that I have seen...have a clear rounded coat of something over them. Any idea on how to make these???
Hey! Your vid's are great! Me and my friend are doing an art project on bottle cap jewelry, and we don't know where to get the bottle caps! Any suggestions?
@ccartdesigns Hi, if you have trouble finding vintage bottle cap images you may want to try going to the website digitalcollagesheets
They have great vintage sheets. You can just use your one inch hole punch to punch out the image you want. Remember to use Photo paper in your printer. Let me know if this helps and if you need anything else..
Thank you so much for your bubbly personality and enthusiasm that brightened my day and filled me with a spark of creativity!!! Thank you also for the information on where to order.
Did you use just a regular hair clippy covered with ribbon for the hair bow/barrette, or did you use something else?
@mysugarplumcottage Hi Joyce..with so much going on in the world today you have to keep an upbeat attitude and make the most of life..Even when trials and big bumps in the road happen..Attitude will make us or break us..
The inside of the barrette is a gripper...you can look on Ebay for those or you can look on Etsy..It's more a foam so that it won't slip out of babies/girls or fine hair. They are WONDERFUL...Stay tuned I have some WAY cute things coming up..
@miamorcreations I bought photo paper at Target. It's called KODAK Photo paper. The set with 25 sheets is like 7 dollars..But, you can get a larger pack. Never use just white paper always use PHOTO PAPER...Good luck and have fun..Let me know if you need help with anything...
@kaboom989 Ok thanks. I thought you had bought paper that already had the circles(lol) I really want to make some. How do you get the hole in the cap because i seen people use a hammer and nail but i want mine to look nice..
@miamorcreations Good Morning!!! I will definetely do a video on that for you...I will try and get that done today or tomorrow (if possible) I have a specific tool that I use and it looks GREAT.....Let me get things together and I will do a video soon...It's very easy..
