I saw a girl give 6 different statements about a man: On the 6th one she claimed "I may have been touched right before I blacked out" -May Have- He was arrested, charged and destroyed. 1day before trial she admitted she lied several times so they charged him with kidnapping for not calling her parents since she was a runaway. No she will, and should, be prosecuted for filing a false report. The same would happen to a man. That said, I think she should also have this false accusation on her record, AND it should be raised in later rape allegations. This would be a better deterrent, I believe, than jail time.
