Idiots. And to think that such a high percentage of taxpayer dollars goes to finance the cushy pensions of these morons is unbelievable. As with good teachers, good cops deserve more. And with bad teachers, bad cops need to be funneled out or left to some low paying menial tasks.

when cops are derelict in their duties & dismissive, 2 loved ones/families, those involved should face serious accountability. that both, strongly encourages appropriate investigative action & discourages any future stagnated or recurrent, stuck-on-stupid in-actions.

I find it very odd that most of these cases the cops don't take it seriously enough. The family knows their child better than anyone and if they say she wouldn't run away, then the cops should listen.
