They should have removed Messi's goal and put in Hassli's against Seattle. If anything Messi's slalom dribble against RM might have made it, but the goal against Arsenal was pure stupidity from FIFA. I think the final 3 should be Stankovic, Rooney and either De Ceular or Gomez.

Messi has scored way better goals, and this one does not do him justice although technically it required a lot of skill (unlike Rooneys) and Messi made it look easy.

@ZeSniperRONeverCries I meant the three scored by women. Nothing against women, but it's obvious FIFA only selected that one to be "equal to women." Equality should be selecting a very good goal scored by a woman because it's a great goal, not because it's a woman.

Messi is there because FIFA doeasnt only consider which one is the most beautiful goal, they also consider the team they were playing agains, and cuz he scored that magnificent goal agains Arsenal and not just some bottom team and this was the Champions League Quarter Finals so ...
