This was made forty years after the original King Kong but the dinosaurs here are nowhere near as realistic looking and this just doesn't hvae the same thrills.
Notice Peter Miles as the evil scientist. He also played the evil, cold assistant to Davros in "Genesis of the Daleks," and he is so creepy and reptilian and chilling. I think he's one of the best actors Doctor Who ever had.
Those dinosaurs aren't that bad! I don't know why people slag them off as much as they do! I know they're not exactly cinematic, but for 1974 it's really quite something.
