This is a good film. Although the continuity is not so good, especially in the area of the boy and the clam shell. Such were the films of the era. The Duke gave an excellent performance.

Do you know how Wayne began to be called The Duke? ;)

Yes, he became his nickname of a dog. First they called him little Duke than Duke.

I know this because my father always call me Duke because I'm a John Wayne fan. I like it.
