I see few blacks truly integrate into the culture, but I LOVE those people. @Oldman5675 - You say "real America was absolutely nothing like that in the 1930's" and I get your point, yet Shirley Temple WAS a part of that era, right?...and America needed strong likable entertainment and this was very popular...so, if most people liked her, then isn't that "proof in the pudding", at least to SOME degree? I heard it said once that the entertainment industry is merely capturing culture, packaging it and selling it back to the culture.

Thanks for posting this video!! I was curious as to what Shirley Temple looked like as she got older. She was just adorable in her younger years although still pretty in her teenage years.Now I know. Great video and song too btw!!
