She does not play any instruments. She has written other songs but in the meantime she went away and learned all about copyright before she put them out there. Again I suggest putting 'Darla and Achtung Baby'' into Google and see what happens. ;)

@beadbop I did write it , i did copyright it. I have not yet published it. Paul Mcguiness is well aware of me. I am not familiar with BMI. In Ireland we have an organisation called Imro, which is the Irish Music Rights Organisation. They collect royalties for recording artists/songwriters. We also have an organisation called the Irish Songwriters Association but oddly enough it is run by a man based in England!
@beadbop I did talk to a copyright lawyer or solicitor as we call them here. I asked him if the postal copyright was valid in court and he said that it was. This is where you post the written format of the song to yourself and keep it sealed in the event that you need to prove the date it was written. He is the solicitor who is named as the legal rights adviser on U2 albums so I felt it would be a bit cheeky of me to ring him for advice and that was what he told me.Sometimes cheek pays.
As a u2 fan since 1983-84 i remeber when this first came out and me expecting a joshua tree/rattle hum type rehash, my first thought was WHAT THE FUCK!!!! Brilliant though.

In Ireland we have an organisation called Imro, which is the Irish Music Rights Organisation. They collect royalties for recording artists/songwriters. We also have an organisation called the Irish Songwriters Association but oddly enough it is run by a man based in England!

@beadbop I did talk to a copyright lawyer or solicitor as we call them here. I asked him if the postal copyright was valid in court and he said that it was. This is where you post the written format of the song to yourself and keep it sealed in the event that you need to prove the date it was written. He is the solicitor who is named as the legal rights adviser on U2 albums so I felt it would be a bit cheeky of me to ring him for advice and that was what he told me.Sometimes cheek pays.

It's a complete disgrace that this song was left off of their 1990-2000 compilation. It's one of the best singles of their entire career. Not to mention, it was the first song that ushered in the arrival of Achtung Baby and was U2's first single where they started to actually "swagger".
