  • @123animator123

    lol .. don't remind me..

  • amazing! romantic time, beautiful machine!

  • Beautiful machine, and catchy tune

  • If I were you id find a replacement for that needle. That sound coming from the record cant be good.

  • That high pitched scratching sound is normal, even for a brand new needle, the only real way to minimise it (or avoid it) is to play the record on a gramophone with a closable lid.

  • @ TashkentFox & Dms12444

Gennett records usually have more noisy surfaces than Columbia, OKeh, or Victor. The shellac Gennett used wasn't as high quality.

  • @Dms12444 that's a normal scratching sound. i think those needles are made out of lead and can only be used once...idk not an expert ...

  • @japierce15 Made of steel, and you're right that they last a play or two.

  • i have several gramaphones 1901 his masters voice guisha and several others brhuht over from england one has amarking on it made by the makers for the king

  • nice

  • want an ad for this 1901?

  • Hi, Great machine, fantastic sound and no motor noise, pretty damn good for a machine of that age, I would love to add this to my collection. Regards Marcel
