  • Cool I went to an island with my cousin and there was a cave and there were so many

  • I went to a beach near there and there was a lot of tide pools with crabs, hermit crabs, anemones, snails and much more!

  • what is a bahamas

  • not just dont keep them because of their instincts but because their not land hermit crabs that are sold in stores, they LIVE in salt water and if kept can only be placed in salt water aquariums

  • i cought about 12 wild ones there so small

  • Awesome. i caught one the hard way :3 by toutch in the surf, are they the same as the ones you buy? or are they a bit diffrent?

  • they are the same. hermit crabs cant mate in captivity.

  • UNTRUE

Hermits can mate in captivity if they are provided with the right conditions.

  • @Pokemonlovergurl1 negetive.. they need the tide... to come in and the moonlight... to be the right time... X_X

  • Cute, i have two of these as pets.

  • where do you go to find wild hermit crabs? that's so cool, the only ones I've seen live in a tank in my room..

  • this was at the tidepools of Cabrillo Beach near the Port of Los Angeles

  • down in the bahamas, there are tons of hermit crabs crawling around in the rocks, in groups of like 300

  • When we go to Jamaica, you see the tiniest hermit crabs (smaller than your pinky nail) and they are in groups larger than 300. I begged my mom to let me take them home with me but she flat out said no.

  • cute
