  • whats the name of the song 00:04 - 00:10

  • have they not heard of lobster traps?

  • Great now I'm going to feel like a dick every time I eat lobster

  • thats real journalism by the same symptoms greek divers suffered in a remote island called kalymnos while diving for sponge its sad man

  • Most of these Vanguard videos are about brown people suffering in all parts of the world so that people in the West can get some luxury or drug. Be it roses, diamonds, lobster, cocaine, ecstasy, oil. After watching so many you just get fed up of seeing people suffering.

  • @dillyjanjan If "Knowledge is power.", "Lack of education can be a weapon of oppression."?

  • @phillipgaley Amen

  • @dillyjanjan When I was in college, one of my classmates was from the ruling family of Guatemala. In the course of one of our discussions, I asked why they didn't educate the Indians, and he said: "Because, we need workers."; so, . . .

  • @phillipgaley Welcome to the world we live in. Arm yourselves with knowledge.

  • @dillyjanjan Since that experience and recount from one who was in the position over the natives there, I have reflected on the thought that, for the struggling masses, Jesus is the only answer, and simply because, as in His Sermon on the Mount, of that was it spoken as the first instance that, the Gospel or Truth has been given to the poor, and a a model for His people to do—whereas, otherwise, the various ruling classes of the nations are under no obligation to uplift the people. And as an

  • @dillyjanjan And as an example—as also, in all other places, and throughout history—it was simple possession of knowledge which allowed the class of priests to rule in the ancient Mayan culture.

But knowledge alone, is insufficient; for, the individual must be taken in and introduced to the use of it—a common complaint about college is that, not, very many are given degrees, but which may be of little actual content or possible use; so, . . .

  • @dillyjanjan And with that I mean also to say that, I kind of think that, largely, control of the USA population is still accomplished in that same old-fashioned way; and, Castro and "the Che" were such who also, desired to maintain class structure in the old way, . . .

One has to be introduced and inducted into a better culture and guided to his place in it—education alone, will not suffice; nor is it in anywise possible that, laws can be passed which might induce that kindness by constraint.

  • @dillyjanjan So, yeah, the first part of what JESUS did, come under the heading of "A Social Gospel": as believers, we have some responsibility to improve the world around us, by uplifting the outlook of our fellow man—and wouldn't you agree?

  • John Wayne at 9:30!! lol

  • mmmm lobster.. now i'm hungry

  • I love Current and especially Vanguard, but common, how can you let such a terrible quality video be posted onto your channel? If you want to be respected like a major network you need to be as responsible and professional as one.

  • Around 17:00 It's James Earl Jones

  • Well Current has a good channel this will be the last video i watch not sitting through those fucking annoying as shit adverts anymore.

  • This is the best reporting I have watched all year! The lobster video shows that the treatment of the earth is catching up with us. What I just watched is insanity pure and simple. How long before science fiction becomes real non-fiction? From what I've just seen, not too long! The curtain is starting to come down on the show ant the picture is getting a little distorted around the edges. Wake up you idiots and see the little red flags going up all around us and stop it before it is too late!

  • she said costa rica, is it nicaragua or costa rica?

  • Mariana is the most beautiful journalist I have ever seen!

  • NITROX won't help for deep dives, but gauges and cheap watches would. However safer diving would translate to depleted lobster. So a combination of training/equipment and moratoriums would be the best solution. The industry would profit from some self-regulation as well to that moratoriums would not be the only answer.

  • Bravo, Current Vanguard. This is real journalism.

  • i hate you google!!!

  • 16:42, does she ask why there are so many disabled divers in costa rica? she's in nicaragua.

  • they gotta learn to use traps.

  • imposing a moratorium is a good alternative BUT what will these people do to earn money and feed their families if they dont dive for 3 motnhs..i hope the gov are looking at this too..

  • Lobster > Human Life.

    Amidoinitrite.

  • Maybe BP can send them some of their robotic submersibles.

  • amazing video thank you and also the music is awesome! anyone know the name of the music tracks on current?

  • do these people know that there are such things as lobster farms and fish farms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • shes hot.

  • ive got a crazy idea- quit fishing for lobster cause youre obviously causing their depletion

  • @Beanmaster73 : i've got a crazy idea, give these people other sources of possible income, because third world countries with little to nil economic development are pretty much fucked, and have to concentrate on single, exportation only occupations. No shit they're causing their depletion, we all fucking are every time we eat one of them, but do they have any other choice? They have no infrastructure.

  • You know what else? If you were in their position, tell me which life you would rather preserve. Your own, or the lobster? It's human nature to attempt to survive, for god's sake, people are naturally going to have a conviction to live and prosper.

  • @Beanmaster73 it is not easy as that..what other sources of work do they have ?The gov aint doing much for them.If the gov can help say setup a lobster or fish or frog farm etc., then it wouldnt be so bad..they dont have a choice its not their wish to cause a depletion of lobsters.

  • I want her Job.

  • this video is mess up

  • Sorry but the video is distorted I can't read the subtitles ;/

  • no spanish at all?

  • This is the reality of latin america. My family and I came to USA 3 years ago to start from zero on the "Land of opportunity", and now my mom works from 10 am to 12 am, Monday thru Saturday in a restaurant, and she can't even complain!.... Her boss is making her the favor of hiring her, she doesn't have a social security card. And is hard to see how people look down at us.Gustavo Medina looks just like almost every rich guy in latinamerica, pretending to care but paying nothing to his employees

  • @olalaloolalalo Should have went to Canada.

  • @olalaloolalalo sad to hear that.God bless your strong mum.The only way out is for her kids thats u to have an education and break out of poverty provided u can get a good job since its limited nowadays.

  • Did that dude have a Leafs hat on? LMAO!

  • who is this cute chick in this video? she is so o o o o cute.

  • You mean the blond one? Mariana van Zeller, she's the producer.
