@TheHighHorse no. i have a white parakeet(female) and she literally tries to get a toy to mate with her. that is why i want my other birds eggs hatch and there are some males so she would stop it. its weird. she is like 2 yrs old and acts SOOOOOO immature!!!

My parakeet looks just like that..minus the blue cere. I don't quite know if it's a boy or girl yet..it's too young to tell. I hope it's a boy though cause it's name is Hercules!

Sounds like you have a 'cyber flock' for your budgie too. I play sounds of other birds for my parakeet Ira to keep him company, he has learned to say 'budgie bird' by listening to other parakeets on Youtube. It is very important for flock birds to have companionship from other birds, even if it is from Youtube. It won't make your bird ignore you if they hear other birds, mine punishes me with his silence when I forget to play his vids or am too slow about it.

our family has had parakeets for 2 years and they are wild parakeets and we really want them to like land on ur finger and stuff like that but whenever we put our finger up to them they just walk away or fly away. :'( do any of you no how we could make them attached to us? please comment back

You should probably move her close to a t.v. or radio to keep her occupied. It takes time getting them out of a little funk. You can also try getting her a toy/mirror although sometimes mirrors do funny things to budgies.
