I tried for the first time last nite. I used simply dry leaves (starting weak) and felt warm and fuzzy. That was about it. I followed all your guidelines here but neither my boyfriend or I felt anything more than warm and fuzzy. Did I do something wrong?

I tried this for the first time a couple of days ago at X20 strength, I took a hit from the pip and don't even remember passing the pipe back, I went into a trance and had no memory of how I got there, I was split into a million pieces and thinking to my self, "what's going on?" then I remembered that I'd taken salvia, I found the trip it a little unsettling because I had no recollection of what my reality was like before taking the salvia..

In the many times I smoked salvia, I had zero bad experiences. Each time when I awoke I had learned something new or had something old explained to me which made me more peaceful. I experienced the "vortex" during each trip and only once had the feeling or something telling me "this is forever you cant get out of it". I always smoked with a sitter and listened to native american music for the mood. I dont recommend it for casual use, only for those needing more inner peace. =)

i tried san pedro recently. my friend was not the best sitter though, i was in a beautiful place up in the mountains..most people have experienced hallucinations with san pedro; i never did, even though i had a very high dose, just felt extremely peaceful and loved, as if i was literally in paradise. i would like to experience with salvia, but i dont have a sitter and i was wondering how safe it is to do it on my own? also i have 7 cats, should i put them in another room during my experience?

I mean, do we have some facts or example wich can show that salvia trippers had some bad trips (walking,running,hitting people...i don't know). People - one of the best recommendations in this video is the sitter. Have someone with you that does not smoke to give assistance if needed. Best that they don't talk with you during the process, simply be present or nearby. While YT shows a lot of "funny" shit when using Salvia, it's certainly something to be respected and used properly. I smoked salvia for my first time a couple days ago, i smoked 20x and took 3 or 4 hits and held it in for 45 seconds and used a torch lighter and lit it the whole time i inhaled and nothing happened, i relaxed and everything and i only felt a bit dizzy and sweaty, i smoked 20x 3 more times over the next days the same way and still nothing happened, i bought the salvia from a legit source and my friends said it worked on them, any help or advice on why it didnt work?

@misternash16 all i can say is that you need to trust the plant and let go. I know its hard, BELIEVE me hehe I've had horrible experiences with salvia when i fought it. It's fine if you let go and just surrender to the experience, but i know it can be a hard thing to do. The more ive used salvia the easier it has become to let go. this is really all i can say

@spekulatius90 There is really no way to tell. It all depends on how big the hit is, what extract you are using, and you personally. For me, most trips last anywhere from 5-10 minutes ( this is the time that I am GONE) then i can still feel mild effects for about 20 mins to a half hour, but I am back.

I tried for the first time last nite. I used simply dry leaves (starting weak) and felt warm and fuzzy. That was about it. I followed all your guidelines here but neither my boyfriend or I felt anything more than warm and fuzzy. Did I do something wrong?

I tried this for the first time a couple of days ago at X20 strength, I took a hit from the pip and don't even remember passing the pipe back, I went into a trance and had no memory of how I got there, I was split into a million pieces and thinking to my self, "what's going on?" then I remembered that I'd taken salvia, I found the trip it a little unsettling because I had no recollection of what my reality was like before taking the salvia..

The effect I got was a complete feeling of despair and overwhelming depression. I felt like I was an intruder in my own home and felt I had nowhere on earth to belong. Then I tried it again ignoring my emotions and felt like the world was tearing in half. I had this feeling running through my body like some external energy. Very powerful drug. In the many times I smoked salvia, I had zero bad experiences. Each time when I awoke I had learned something new or had something old explained to me which made me more peaceful. I experienced the "vortex" during each trip and only once had the feeling or something telling me "this is forever you cant get out of it". I always smoked with a sitter and listened to native american music for the mood. I dont recommend it for casual use, only for those needing more inner peace. =)

I truly believe that and am working on figuring out how to make it so. Rather than building enemies, share your knowledge with me and help me figure out how to safely get this message out. People - one of the best recommendations in this video is the sitter. Have someone with you that does not smoke to give assistance if needed. Best that they don't talk with you during the process, simply be present or nearby. While YT shows a lot of "funny" shit when using Salvia, it's certainly something to be respected and used properly. 1. No stress
2. ALWAYS know where you are. Don't be at a place that you arent familiar with ESPECIALLY if you eventually have to drive back home or something. This causes incredible amounts of anxiety that will ruin your trip.
3. Be with people that you KNOW and more importantly TRUST.
I broke all of these rules the first time and it was the scariest experince ever. It was beautiful, but scary.

I smoked salvia for my first time a couple days ago, i smoked 20x and took 3 or 4 hits and held it in for 45 seconds and used a torch lighter and lit it the whole time i inhaled and nothing happened, i relaxed and everything and i only felt a bit dizzy and sweaty, i smoked 20x 3 more times over the next days the same way and still nothing happened, i bought the salvia from a legit source and my friends said it worked on them, any help or advice on why it didnt work?

@theremakers54 "X" brands, such as 5x, 10x, 20x, are not good. Their dosages can be off and stuff. The next time you buy, go to Salviazone. It's a website, and the delivery time is about 3-4 business days. Each level has the amount of salv. a in it (mg/g) so you know how strong it is.

@PullyElbow27 thanks for the help, but i also have a rare case called reverse tolerance, which means im insensitive to salvia( well thats what aother people on youtube tell me) but they never tell me how to break down my tolerance beside just smoking a really high exstract like 60x or the red box. any other advice? but thanks for the help

I once had a sharp pain in the left side of my left lung after taking a hit of 60x and it really hurt when i tried to take a deep breath---it continued to hurt that night but i went to bed within the hour and when i woke up I felt fine---I am a little scared to take a really big hit after that happened--have you ever heard of anyone having trouble breathing as a result of smoking salvia??

@misternash16 all i can say is that you need to trust the plant and let go. I know its hard, BELIEVE me hehe I've had horrible experiences with salvia when i fought it. It's fine if you let go and just surrender to the experience, but i know it can be a hard thing to do. The more ive used salvia the easier it has become to let go. this is really all i can say

@misternash16 my advice (i know no one asked me lol, but still) set your mind, even days before planning on doing Salvia... set your mind to let go, no matter how it feels.. since you already experienced it, you kinda know how it feels, so surrender to it.. and remember, that it will pass... I felt in the end scared, cause I wanted to come back and couldn't and suddently remember.. it WILL pass if I let go... its a ind set.. and meditate before doing it..

@ricochet188 no seeds.. if you want the plant there are many sites that sell it (as long as your state allows it)... I bought from salviazone, and its awesome!, i bought one gram and they gave me 4/10 of a gram of other potencies...

@ricochet188 well... according to wikipedia, its very legal in Canada.. many sites will sell outside the US if its legal in the country... so you wouldn't have a problem buying it.. I know that salviazone ships international, so maybe you should check it out.. (that's the site I use.. and i recommend, but I'm sure there are others... just look aroud)

@spekulatius90 There is really no way to tell. It all depends on how big the hit is, what extract you are using, and you personally. For me, most trips last anywhere from 5-10 minutes ( this is the time that I am GONE) then i can still feel mild effects for about 20 mins to a half hour, but I am back.

Mary Jane is a whore who will let just about anybody fuck her. For some people, that's fine.
Salvia Divinorum, on the other hand, will not take shit from your ego, she will not be disrespected, and she will kick your ass if you treat her like people treat Mary Jane, like a party favor.
Salvia isn't a toy, or even a tool, she is a guide, teacher, psychiatrist, lover, friend, guru, etc.. If you work hard, she'll give you fun time too.

@Electrospacetime It's really all up to you, whatever you feel is right. I started with 15x and it was fine. But since everyone has a different tolerance you never know how strongly (or weakly) you will react to to it.

Hey, I've never done salvia either but I just ordered some 10x to gauge my reaction to it. I ordered a gram but honestly I don't know anything about smoking... anything. Is there any other way to experience it without the use of bong or pipe? I have a pipe but it's a tobacco pipe from wal-mart that I used as a halloween costume piece (lol). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

@Runesorrow well other than smoking you will have to get ahold of some fresh leaves and chew them(dont ask me how to get em, idk). Or i think they sell liquid extract that u just hold in your mouth, but i've heard it gives only a very mild effect.

yeah, mushrooms and salvia compare in no way. They almost feel like opposites to me. I've been reading a lot about DMT experiences and they really do sound like salvia a lot of the time. I would love to smoke DMT one day. But until then, I'll have to settle for the endogenous DMT in my brain!
