The tone, however, is in fact very close to Edward's, and that alone fools many. It's how the world of true musicians versus average listeners is, but it's still a little disturbing hearing all the gushing over this Kent guy. If it were me, I'd say "please don't limit your comments to how F'n good I am, for God's sake!"

Kent, the intro has a low G (3rd fret, low E string) that you're not playing. The last 4 notes of the riff before it repeats are G-c-b-c. You can check that with someone you respect, if there is one, who hears the sequence exactly. I teach so many that song who've learned it incorrectly, starting with the intro. Just keepin' it real. I'm not saying you're not good, you are, but you lack accuracy in the finer aspects of the songs you're doing (which is fine). I'm one observer who won't blow you.

@paulschedler He palm mutes the A string instead which is totally in key and sounds good too IMO. He doesn't play it note for note, who cares he puts his own touch on it which makes it that much more impressive and better, anyone can go look up the stupid tabs and copy them exactly.
