All im saying is that you need to re evaluate your car needs,the big tanks are a thing of the past.Big used to be good,not anymore.Ive gone from V8s to a Celica with a turbo Maxima in between.I can honestly say the Celica doesnt have the low torque but is quite Ok,acceleration is very good depending on the Celica you get.Around town the VVTI is ok but the VVTIL is very nippy and handles like a dream.Its very economical and with a proper body kit looks good.

Actually for its weight, a celica GT for example has more torque than a GT-S and in 1st and 2nd gears a decent driver will put half a car on a WRX with basic bolt ons from a dig, done it a couple of times, but in 3rd gear subie murders a GT, need boost :(

Honda's have the most aftermarket ,but that doesn't mean that its better.

the gt-s model has better power-to-weight ratio than the rsx type-s. NO,it's no lancer evo quick or sti quick, but it has a lil juice. =)).Yes, i know, no torque. The car only weighs 2500 lbs., same weight as a DA-integra with 135 hp. The gt-s's 180hp w/ just 2500 lbs is good in my books! =))

you can change the engine for the 3ZZ-FE(i think that was the name) and put really high boost on it(it would surpass the 280 hp like that) or just put a really good turbo, with only that it will reach 275hp, add some good exhaust and you got the 280-285hp goal. Trustme, I saw one GT-S with the turbo on the dyno and that shit is amazing, still doesn't beat an EVO but WHO CARES, for a 1.8 fwd that is really good!!!
