Well i dunno how much credence there is to this!, but i just heard today through the media rumour mill that Netflix are planning an eventual "pay per view" section in the UK for new releases. (Which would explain why sign up require cedit card details, rather than debit)

If true then this £5.99 "all you can stream" advertising BS is just a shiney plated useless old carrot being dangled on a string as consumer bait. Ah well.... NEVER MIND, EH!.

@GONEMAD1 Well LoveFilm's been going for years in the UK. This is day one for Netflix in the UK and considering it's got loads of HD videos on day one (while LoveFilm has a grand total of zero) it's a decent start in my opinion.
