Two days ago I was in Ilinois with my truck (boom truck) and pup trailer along with a flat bed truck too. Flat bed got stuck so I tried to pull him out but slid in the clay and almost into a retention pond. My truck was on an embankment and only 3 feet from the water. Some guys on the job site jumped up and saved my butt. Used their big 4wd Lull and a couple big chains pulled me up the hill. Monday I head back over for another run and I'm bringing a couple cases of beer as a thanks....

@Kymi1015 I KNOW!! It was ridiculous, wasn't it? I was stranded for 5 days, because the only way I had out to the main road was down a steep hill on a secondary road that the DOT did not do anything to until Friday morning. GDOT gets a big fat F from me for this one. They had plenty of time to prepare, and they knew this was going to be a major ice event. We need ice melt chemicals here in Ga, and not that sand which does not work on ice and cold temps.
