i miss the days when i had a gameboy color, i loved the music, i still heaer the kirby theme song in my ears when i close my eyes, but for some reson, drums are added.
@tubbyfatski did you not read i play the flute??? i think i would know how it's held. and i know the correct embouchure to play it. and i know all the notes with the chromatic scale.
@DinoGuys Doctor Who and the Mines of Terror, Dalek Attack, Destiny of the Doctors (1997), City of the Daleks (2010), Blood of the Cybermen (2010), TARDIS (2010), Shadows of the Vashta Nerada (2010), and The Gunpowder Plot (2011).
@DinoGuys Oh, and I forgot...Doctor Who and the Warlord, Evacuation Earth, The First Adventure, Mazes of Time, Return to Earth, Worlds in Time, and Top Trumps: Doctor Who.
Hello there! Welcome to the Whoniverse! My name is the Doctor! People call me the Doctor. This world is inhabited by history! For some people, history is for social commentary. Others use it for silly action bits. Myself...I study history as a profession.
i play the flute & recorder (had to do it in Elementary) the flute is defiantly bigger it also has keys recorder is holes...the flute can also go up to higher octaves than the recorder (i think the recorder can only go up one) also (in my opinion) the flute sounds prettier
Is anyone else imagining the Second Doctor jumping up and down on that t, switching between each leg as he plays the shows theme on his flute or clairinet? (I'm sorry I can't remember what kind of instrument it was.)
@Popcultureguy3000 Close. It's a recorder. Perhaps you remember them from primary school before people went to high school and never played them again.
@haydos271 I only heard him call his instrument by it by it's proper (probably U.K. exclusive) name once, and it was during "The Three Doctors" so there were too many other exciting things going on during that serial for me to notice what he called that instrument. It was involved with an amazing plot twist, I'll give it that.
@Popcultureguy3000 I haven't watched much from the Second Doctor's era, but because I'm a music fanatic I know everything about instruments. I know that a smaller version of the tuba is the euphonium.
@Popcultureguy3000 Seriously though, is anyone else picturing the Second Doctor hopping up and down on each leg playing that Recorder when they see this?
@Popcultureguy3000 A flute is much bigger and is played sideways instead of downwards. Plus, with a flute, you don't really put the mouthpiece in your mouth, you just blow into it. Also, the flute has "keys" that you push down on, while a recorder just has holes. And yes, I am picturing him hopping up and down on each leg.
@haydos271 Btw, "The Three Doctors" was not a Second Doctor serial, it was a Third Doctor serial, that was created to celebrate the show's tenth anniversary.
@haydos271 Thanks for being so polite about this whole recorder thing. (: There are so many people on the internet who would get really rude and act like they know everything about music and that I'm stupid for not knowing anything about instruments.
@Popcultureguy3000 IT'S A RECORDER YOU IDIOT!!! You mean like that? Hey, a few year sago I knew nothing about instruments until I was forced to have Music as a subject at my high school.
@haydos271 They forced you to take a music class?! I wish my High School did that, I needed a creative outlet so badly during my Freshmen and Junior years.
@Popcultureguy3000 Oh yes. In Year 7, we were forced to complete subjects, even if we hated them. Music was one among Visual Arts, Food Technology, Indonesian Language. I mainly thought these subjects were meh, but I was glad the next year you didn't have to do them. English, Maths, Science, History/Geography and PE were mandatory up until Year 10, and only English and Maths was mandatory in Year 11 and 12. I did extremely well in Music, getting 11/10 on one of my tests!
Ooh very good once again. I can now imagine this been played on a game boy color, and i like the little sega/sonic sound effect at the end like the sonic boom at the end of the peter davison theme, well done =)
I like GameBoys, GameBoys are cool

It may sound like that in the openning, but it seems more like the old doctor. Especially at 0:58.

I'm sick of nostalgia. I've been watching Doctor Who for years. I'd prefer the new sound because it's much cleaner.
