  • this is why i dont want a plexi guitar, they are fucking sexi but soooo much sustain

  • sexy guitar bro!

  • out of time

  • Where's the Draw The Line cover? xD

    Love those guitars btw

What can you say about the sustain?

  • how much did yours cost and where did you get it from?

  • @cheeznizt They're sold through an eBay store for about 800$

  • @vdbdg Really?! only 800? everytime i look the ones i find are like1500

  • is that the one dave grohl uses on the all my life video?

  • @alex2k795 yes

  • Thanx for nice vid!

  • nice one!!!!!!!!!!!

    great tone

  • Nice! Reissue?

I just bought a 1971 original, to replace the 1969 I sold last year (doh!). Very cool guitars though, I love em.

  • Reissue yes. I'd love to try an original. If they were good enough for Keith and Joe Perry, they'd sure be good enough for me. Put some videos of the guitar on YouTube please.

  • cool man i already am a big Killing Joke and Monks fan (not familiar with the other two, but ive heard of the Quick)

    ill check those videos, thanks!

  • quality dude!

    what amp you using?

  • @remembermeforevertit thanks man, I'm just using the Vox Tonelab SE

  • i also expect that it will be like twice as heavy as a Les Paul considering the Plexi body and aluminum neck are the heaviest parts of both of the instruments im working with. :p

  • hahaha i will if i ever do for sure. its just a matter of me finding a travis bean, and learning how to do metal working or finding someone to do it for me then getting the plexiglass body.....could take awhile, but im gonna save up the money i guess, why not. :]

  • great choices if i do say so myself!

After a little more research ive discovered that my idea couldnt really work with normal parts. Travis bean necks actually extend down into the body and incorporate the pickups. This ampeg's specialy wired pickup system doesn't really mesh with the travis bean neck, they would overlap theoretically. so i guess im gonna have to copy the meausments on a travis bean neck and make a shorter bolt on style aluminum neck that would fit on the ampeg.

  • dude totally, those are two of favorites right there!

man i really want to try that! the combination of the plexiglass body and aluminum neck should should pretty interesting.

yeah the sustain would be crazy i bet! ive got a Sunn cab and a Boss DF2 Feedback distortion pedal so sustain isnt really an issue but all the same...

if only i could afford one of these. :[

  • dude that awesome! i own a mustang as well, and an eastwood hiflyer.but ive always want one of these. how do you think it would sound with a Travis Bean neck on it???

  • ai have the ada6 too, i love the guitar. it plays like a dream, and sounds like one too

  • that was really good, never knew this guitar was so versatile

  • thanks, you know once you use a couple of effects, you can pretty much make any guitar do anything. This one does cut nice and clean though, it really has a vibe of its own.

  • dude how much did you pay for your dan armstrong?

  • They sell on eBay for about $800.

  • First off great cover. You nailed it. But did you know if you look at the video "Jimi Hendrix with the Rolling Stones" or something like that Jimi and Keith Richards are passing around an Ampeg.

  • thank you. Oh yeah, I remember that one, indeed Richards played it quite often. I wonder if he ever recorded with it though

  • thats a kind of guitar that is made well and will never good out of style

  • Thank you for upload and share!!!

  • friggin sexy guitar!

  • cool! i got the first view and comment

  • And the first reply: thank you for watching!

  • did you practice that with a metronome
