I feel so sorry for you. I have been through a lot of experiences that have been very similar to yours. I found it tough to make friends, I suffered teasing and bullying at school, I would stay in my room most of the time and not take part in social activities ... I too sought some therapy for SA and it helped me to realise that I was not alone and that there are techniques that help a long way.
I have Social anxiety, and one way i find that helps is if any one talks to me, i turn the conversation to social anxiety related issues it realy helps because i know what i am talking about. Good luck by the way
That is a very nice surrounding you live in!! I am 29 and from the Netherlands. I suffer from agoraphobia for about 9 years...im doing all the thing i must do but not all the things i want to do!!. What you just did on that video is something i cant imagine myself doing that!! I would love to do so...your videos are a real help. I am going to give it a try and follow your example of the exposures!! Thnx..and keep up your great progress..:)
one tip you might want to consider is getting confidence from your looks b/c you are very good looking guy and I assure you when ppl look at you they would not be able ta tell that you are shy and afraid. This is something I want to feed off of as well.
@88M8A8X88 I live in America I figure the movies that I see with England as the backdrop cannot represent the entire reality of what England is as a whole. I'm willing to admit my ignorance of what the place and the people are like. Thank you for representing what looks like a very nice place by answering my comment that is a year old.
Man for a social phobic u look to have yahself a decent tan haha =P
Anywhoo good for u with how well the CBT is going, its a feat alone just to be able to go through to the very end. Your definatley making some brilliant progress and i'm glad to be able to witness it 8)
watching your previous vids, you once said talking to a camera in public was something you could not imagine yourself doing ever. You've come a long way me thinks.
I reckon this sort of thing works. I did public speaking on stage when I was much younger. It made me feel 10ft tall till my next troth. I just wonder with this if it ever ends. I mean I don't want to do this sort of thing then retreat again. When does it end?
Good effort. For exposure therapy to work you must be consistent. Set new goals. When you feel comfortable walking around the park then its time to try something more challenging like shopping malls for example.

I thought about this but standing around with a camera strapped to my face I was too scared to draw negative attention. You pulled it off though.
