i cant believe this used to go for as little as 11 dollars. today you cant get it for less than 80-90 and ive seen it go as high as 160. of course this is just my personal expierience.

Dude, nice presentation of the model and transformation, as it is a good representation. And, AWESOME music too, can't help but think of that scene in the movie "The One" with Jet Li (I'm a fan of Bullet Time, lol)

Showing this actually helped me as I'm trying to model and animate two CGI jets that have pivots more like the old toys but with minor changes so they can fight awesome. The transformations are going to be a mix of the cartoons and the toys. Anyway, helpful vid, and thanks, 5/5

Whats better? Henkei starscream or Masterpiece?

In my opinion Henkei because the Masterpiece has the engines hanging on his hips as if he's carrying baseball bats. also, the face mold of the MP is too long. The body features of the MP are all too long. The Henkei looks much more like his cartoon counterpart, even though is a less expensive product and has less fancy transformation than the MP.

The Henkei Classics series is intended to be G1 TV-show accurate. Henkei Classics Starscream is the most TV-show accurate figure to date. The Henkei Classics lineup are G1, just like the Revoltech series. They're not made from the original molds, but they're G1 figures. G1 = Generation 1 = original TV-show. The Masterpiece figures are also G1, even more so than the original figures. They're not 80's G1 molds, but that's something very different.

I wasn't aware of the Henkei releases until I saw your Henkei Starscream video. It made me check out the gallery on seibertron. I was amazed at the cartoon-accuracy and immediately ordered one. I purchased it with the immensely delayed Encore Minibots in 1 shipment so I waited 4(!) months for it to arrive.

If you really want one I'd say sell your Classics and get a Henkei. I had a TRU Soundwave and I really wanted the Encore Soundwave so I sold the TRU and got an Encore.

Sweet video Amigo! I recently bought the Takara Henkei Astrotrain figure and he is really an awesome toy...i already had the rest of the figures though so i see no point in buying doubles...but i wish i had known these were going to be released cuz i would have waited to buy them instead of the hasbro versions =( I still need Megatron though so i might buy him as well..alright broham take care, Ryan

Hey, Enrique. I like true G1. That is, the original TV-show and the G1 figures. That also means I like the figures that truly represent the original TV-show characters like this Henkei Starscream. It's designed too look as much as the TV-show character as possible.
