I think it's hilarious that almost all dk tanks can only tank with DnD, I personally think it's a complete waste of runes unless it's on multiple targets. If you use PS, IT, and BS, or HS, I'm almost sure that it will add up to more aggro than 1 DnD.

All dk tanks should use DnD it gives of a high threat level meaning you CAN probrably take more aggro by using it...

i got bc expansion when lich king came out, and i must of ran bloodfurnace and hellfire ramparts about 30 times. out of the 30 times i dont think even a single warrior orwarlock was present.

depends on what youre doing.

for raids and whatnot i find unholy best for DPS and Blood best for Tanking (although i don't recommend tanking with a DK)

blood is the best leveling spec... fairly high dps/hits plus healing.... for example at 59 i took out a 61 elite (21k health)

okay... not to be rude... but no1 should realy listen to burntfish44... well, yes Unholy is great for Dps, but so is Blood and frost, right now, spec'd right and played right, a frost DK can get a 8k+AoE crit almost every 6 seconds.

Also, blood is not good for tanking... you cannot hold agro well enough, and you take too much dmg as unholy to tank. But Frost Knights, make exellent tanks, the dmg mitigations, + their few aoes for agro.

but yes blood is great for lvling

To reply to everything everyone said, you're all very very wrong, every spec is equally as good at everything they're meant to do. Blood is single target dps (which is bascially the only thing that counts in raids) and single target tanking. Unholy is Aoe tanking and trash pulls (fairly good at single target dps as well, but not as good as blood). And Frost is somewhere in the middle of that, better at trash than blood, but worse than unholy, and better at single target than unholy but not blood

its not that clicking is bad, its that clicking mostly means you dont know how to mirco, and when you use hotkeys you buff your damage, your also looking at the game more then looking at your keyboard/spells to know what to use next, with hotkeys and remembering you know what to use next. alot more core raiders do this

LoL TY, but its true, people often overlook Night Elves, they think that we dont deserve to be Death Knights when in reality they are Afraid XD.
