I have that same 78 rpm album. Bought it about 1962...but mine is full of snap-crackle-and-pop from having been played many times back in the early 60's.
Mahalo for posting this song...My mom bought this album in 1962 when I was 9 years old and I would listen to over and over...I began playing piano because of this and this was really my first taste of cool jazz...I especially liked his version of route 66 (tv theme song)...I talked to Mr. Denny when he was hospitalized in the hospital I worked at and he died shortly thereafter...What a brilliant and wonderful man...Kimo Holland
Thanks so much for posting this....had it as a kid and this really brings back memories of sitting in front of my big old console record player for hours on end!
one of many contemporary artists whose music can be relaxing for anyone who ever had a bad day.

@PokeyGreen: Me again. Oops. I meant 33-1/3 rpm album. Just dated myself by saying 78 rpm's!

I had the album back in the '60s. Loved it. Thanks for bringing back the memories. There was a movie of the same name, starring Rita Tushingham.
