This is what music is all about, it not about money, or fame, or any of that shit it should be about getting together throwing in some riffs, a few bass beats and a nice drum rythem and a singer singing and having some fun while doing it (: that why i adore these guys, maybe not the greatest Punk band( not saying the worst either d:) these guys are what Music is really about, not bands like Nickleback, Sum 41, guns and roses, etc cause they all suck d:
its kinda weird cuz ive loved them ever since a calculated use of sound and now people idolize them. i wonder how many people have even heard that album? at the time i thought it was awesome and its just been going uphill ever since. its still strange tho
I've loved their stuff since a calculated use of sound. Noone i knew heard of them or cared about them until kezia, now everyone worships them. I agree, it is really odd, but sweet as well
@kezia0 i have i watched them play the whole EP and blindfolds aside when blindfolds was the only new song they had before the album was even in the process of being written, in Barrie Ontario, Canada. they drove there for like 15 kids.. i was like the only kid at the time in that whole area that knew who they were.
@kezia0 I actually started listening to Protest when Kezia came out but the only album I owned at the time was A Calculated Use of Sound. Such a crazy change in their music.
they didnt leave to play with avril lavigne, they played with them before they started CM. the bassist is now in charge of the Underground Operations record label i believe
this is true...the bassist actually LEFT avril to run Closet Monster...London (and the guitarist? forget if one was in avril) is the epitome of a true musician...all about the music, not the money
yeah i saw that first video she had on tv a while ago and i started laughing cuz hes in it =p personally not a huge fan of this band for various reasons but i DO like this song.
It's my abolute prefered song. I love it! I'd like to have their CD but i'm from italy and don't know how i can get it =(. Thanks for uplading thid vid. Luv ya. Peace!
sorrykids, u know ur cool when u come watch someones video to rag on it but seriously i didnt c ur band get signed to underground operations, u prolly dint even ever have a band ur just a lsoer who wants to feel accepted
