  • @Pollux820 lol no it doesn't

  • The map is very ugly...

  • So, I know that small villages can be attacked and killed... Can main cities (or capitals) be attacked and killed?

  • @racenuke As far as we know only the capital cities are "safe", that is - the five starter cities (Divinities Reach for the humans, Rata Sun for hte Asura, and so on ) along with Lion's Arch. Which is funny since Lion's Arch is in a war in Eye of the North, and Nightfall...

  • @racenuke all the other giant cities can be destroyed, but must players would help put a stop to it, but anyways yes! giant cities can be taken over but much harder, and im sure starter zones can be taken over but it will be almost impossible

  • Can someone tell me Official release date of this game?

  • @Battlefield3JET There is no release-date yet. The developers are stating it will be released "when it is done". As soon as there is any information on this I will put out a clip of it of course. Keep watching the channel.

  • @SagelikeOne And ebgames says otherwise.

  • @YamiPoyo And in a race between Arenanet and ebgames I think I know who I would rather listen to when it comes to information on Guild Wars 2.

  • @SagelikeOne Can anyone tell me how to possible get in on the beta or if there is a preorder site so i can be prepared to purchase this game on release?

  • @jbolt31 As of this date there is no such way. When they broaden the eta to include more people there will be notices posted on the official site. I will make sure to cover it. However, don't fall for any scams. There are loads about. I made a clip about that a while ago.

No, there is no pre-order yet, as the game is not announced for release. Amazon, gamestop and others have a "re-order", but that is just trying to get your money. It does not mean anything. I will cover this too.

  • @jbolt31 they will le tyou sign up when beta launches, you can find out if beta started on the guildwars2 website, closed beta is finished, game will be released april-may

  • @FuryOfTheSwarm That is a guess on your part. There is no release-date out yet.

  • @SagelikeOne they said the open beta will take place in march, two months is good enough time, so yes it is a guess, but most likely it will be released in april-may

  • @FuryOfTheSwarm "most likely" has been 'moving' since winter 0f 2009. WE can hope you are right, but there is not any hard info to support it. The "two months" for open beta for instance is speculation, nothing more. We don't know anything about those schedules yet, simply.

  • @Battlefield3JET when its done... ;-P

  • @Battlefield3JET few days ago they said beta events will start in march and april. So expect a release day confirm around there.

  • Great vid, love the work and effort u put into this, keep it up! :D

  • what no mention of naked Ele's dancing? Blasphemy lol

Has it been confirmed you'll be able to re-enter the starter zones? Not seen that mentioned, i rather liked having my perma pre chars in GW for the last 4 or 5 years

  • @BogusDudeGW I picked this up from a GW2 FAQ: "Will there be a pre-Searing-like area, like in Guild Wars Prophecies?

No. Because there are different racial starting areas, the developers felt it was impractical to implement such areas."

  • @BogusDudeGW I guess you could stay in the tutorial area (level 1 to 2) but it will be terribly small, and not much fun at all. Not at ALL like pre-searing.

  • @SagelikeOne thats a shame, even before Nich arrived i used to have a perma pre for when i was bored and wanted a change of scenery and get away from the main game events, i'd chip away at my LDoA, took me long enough but did it the old fashioned way. Before LDoA there was a nice little dye farm to play with but thats not so good now and pre had a whole community of its own.

  • After seeing much of the game play available, it seems that you can reach about level 6 or 7 before you have to move on from the starter zones. Not being able to play the game yet, my idea is I would like to finish the starting area, say get to level 6 or so. Then while still a low level use the Asura gates to check out the other starting areas. Do you think this will slow the leveling curve any, and if so by how much? Also, will there be level restrictions when using the gates?

  • @papajoe970 It won't slow you down significantly, since you will scale anyway. We have no hard math on how scaling will affect experience-gain, but I doubt it would drag you terribly.

  • @SagelikeOne and do you think it will be possible to move on to considerably higher level zones (e.g. you're lvl 7 and you go to lvl 12 zone) just to make the game challenging? i'd love that

  • @SomeoneWhoCanType Yes you can go to a higher level area. If you're with a higher level person your level will be scaled up (keeping same skills though) or you can just try your luck in the higher level with your actual level. I remember seeing 2 guys in a demo try that and the one of them got 1 shotted hahaha.

  • This game will be soo good that you know it will not come until end of 2012.

  • @marko3aksam Booooooo! lol....

  • acctually there are humanoids in the Norn startarea = the Svanir

  • @toastisimo Svanir are Norn though, sort of. I was thinking more of human bandits. Poor sods try to venture in there - smash!

  • I think due to the scaling down a lot of people will visit the starter zones over and over!

Also - the starter zones are all outside the capital cities which are linked by portals - so you can play with your friends right away, even if they choose a different race than you - which I personally think is awesome!

  • Human Warrior or Thief , dunno.

  • cant wait for GW2 :D am gonna play Asura necromancer <3 and play alot of pvp :)

  • hey, can I download the demo's on my pc?

    Great video

  • @MrJarvink You can't. It is not released yet. I will let you know when and where it becomes avaialable. Also, have a look at my beta-scam video.

  • Thanks for the fantastic videos Sage. They've been incredibly informative.

  • Thanks for the information. Keep up the good vids.

  • Oh man, Arenanet should release it already...

Sagelikeone, what race and class are you going to play?

  • @gamedude922 Hopefully that question will be answered this weekend or the next - watch this channel.
