I couldn't agree with you more! But I think single player campaigns are very overlooked now, I personally play games more for the single player where I can engage with the story and the characters but I also enjoy multiplayer on several games. I think the lack of engagement with single player campaigns is hurting many games out there! Keep up the good work bro!
@ThemOnesWhoGame I would agree I think that a single player game campaign focused game can be really good and have a thriving multiplayer look at; Gears of War and Uncharted 1&2
it really about lasting appeal. That why they add multiplaya but one game that good without is vanquish but if they would have would have sold lot more.
@MrGladBEASTftw Well shit I gotta interact with the people what you expect to sit here like Woody's Gamer tag or some shit and say I ain't got time? Never that keep supporting ya boi and spread the word!
I believe singleplayer is useless atleast in a couple of games... takes out so much dev times devs could use to work on the multiplayer and make it completely amazing. It is also normally a one shot thing that you lose interest in replaying because you know the twists of the games story which is the main reason to have a single player...
@merccc1 I'd have to disagree because story drives a game if you want to play a strictly online experience type of game then you should probably be playing MMO's, FPS', or somthing inbetween those two. Story is what makes a game a game becuase if you don't have story then what are you playing for? What is the purpose? Why are you doing what you are doing? I do understand some multiplayers games don't need as much of an emphasis on story but to say not to have story at all defeats gaming logic.
@TheComputerEmpire I disagree aswell, a game is a interative experience wether it involves a storyline or not. Story can be important and all but the time spent putting so much on a one time experience singleplayer seems pointless. I would want a game were I really actually had a say in the story and were it can change while in multiplayer with other people. I wouldnt doubt if they stopped focusing on the 1 shot singleplayer and did a multiplayer driven story that would be possible and a big hit
@TheComputerEmpire (continue) Imagine a game were they didnt do a singleplayer or single and multi same and focused so much on that mode detail not only on environment but on changes that could be made by players to the story and diffrent events that happen depending on conditions made and obtained by players so that it would have a ton of replayability and versatility. *bad explainer*. A game such as that would be so much more worth the money as it would last for a much greater period of time.
@TheComputerEmpire (continue 2) It just seems like a better way to go about it. Developers are just stuck on that standard of singleplayer and multiplayer instead of making a seamless version that does not have exact story and that can be change, effected and altered drastically with many small and large events that can happen once or many times depending on circumstances. Having a seamless single and multi player would allow people without internet to play also just without others.

@badhabit30 Not ever game needs to have multiplayer but some games are in desperate need of it because the gameplay is so limited.

@merccc1 Multiplayer should be DLC only. I don't want my games to have multiplayer if I don't want it.
