I wouldn't recommend doing this every single day - instead, mix it up with our Booty Boot Camp, & of course, other routines that focus on other areas of the body & kinds of training (i.e. cardio, upper body, core, etc). If I constantly do this excercise, will it make my butt bigger? I have a pear shaped body, and my butt is quite large...But now that i've gained so much weight my hips look way too big compared to my body. I want to make them smaller.. i'm just scared that doing this might make it bigger by building muscle... :(
@alisa0093 Building muscle is never a bad thing, and muscle takes up less room than fat. It will reshape your butt (the glutes are a large muscle that will sag) but it's not going to make it bigger in a bad way. In fact, if you start doing this you could increase the number of calories you burn per day, which could result in a loss of extra weight and/or body fat. Exercise only does good stuff for your booty, especially workouts like this one. -Kelli

We may have videos for that in the near future. In the meantime, that list is very comprehensive and is a really great place to start. Good nutrition will make you feel so much better; stick with it!

I've been doing this video for about a week and a half now and it works wonders!
However, I'm curious as to if it will bulk up my thighs or not. Is there anything you can recommend to help me slim down my thighs? I have what I like to call, "dancer's thighs." They're rather large, but mostly just fat right now because I've stopped doing dance for a few years now. Anything I can do to slim and tone them?

There are only a couple of exercises that might "bulk" but even if they did it would be minimal, muscle, and a good thing (primarily the jump squats-you could do a regular squat instead). If you're really, really worried about it (which, I don't think you should be because if you've got "dancers thighs" that are muscular, that's awesome!), try our "Leg Slimming Pilates Butt & Thigh Workout". @TuFlakaHermosa These exercises won't necessarily make it bigger (we do have workouts for that, if that's what you're looking for - check out our website for our entire collection of free full length vids) but it makes it more toned, & better shaped. For example, the difference might be a softer, non-muscular (and eventually saggy) bum that looks like you sit on it all day, or one that is shapely, "perkier" & firm. Nice job on doing it regularly, keep it up.

@yezz999 It's to take what you have & reshape it in a way that is firmed & lifted. These are predominately not heavy weight bearing exercises so it wont necessarily make it bigger, just perkier. It also burns calories, and tones the thighs.
@piano37924 Absolutely. Keep at it and periodically push yourself to go further. For example, after doing this 3-4 times a week for 7-10 days, start trying to complete 2 rounds, or do the full first round and then half the reps of the second.

Assuming that by "leanness" you mean dropping a bit of body fat, I would recommend one of our jump rope routines (sorry can't post a link here). They are intense enough to bump up your calorie burn a bit & they've got toning exercises in between. The Leg Slimming Pilates Routine would also be good for toning up a pear shape without adding too much extra mass. Hope this helps!

@mangopineapple3 I've honestly never seen that DVD, but these are definitely butt lifting exercises. If you have tried it, you will feel exactly where it's working. All of the exercises in this video have been chosen specifically because they target the muscles in and around the glutes to tone & shape.

It's about 25 minutes long & is full of exercises that can help you get a smaller, pulled-in waist. I also eat very healthily & often. @gonzales0389 Hey there Gonzales. There are a number of exercises in this video that you shouldn't do while pregnant, especially in the third trimester; i.e. double leg lifts, and jump squats (or any plyometrics), for example. You want to keep your heart rate under 140 bmp and avoid exercises that require you to lie flat on your back (especially after the third month). In the future, we will be posing workouts specifically for pregnant ladies like yourself, so look out for that :)
