Although I am not an Anglo Saxon I don't think Australia is more or less racist than other countries. Every country has its share of racism and hypocrisy but Australians need to learn to stop defending everytime an incident comes up like this. I think ignorance has a part to play when it comes to jokes. Being dark Aussie myself and thinking about it for a bit our jokes can be quite abrasive whatever topic it maybe especially amongst people you know and as always the case everyone has a good laugh about it. But in retrospect this is a TV show for goodness sake leave bad jokes or subjects that have sensitivities behind. What may seem okay infront of your friends may not be appealing to someone else.
