They only go till 5 pm 3 days a week and Saturday school is for middle school only (at least most locations are like this).
I don't like the Saturday school thing and counties like Japan are doing away with the practice. I think the amount of homework is too much with an already 9.5 school day. Kipp has a high turnover rate for teachers and students, so they might be going a little overboard. Overall they are doing a great thing and we need more schools like them nationwide for all races.

im going to Kipp School next year with my freind. Im going to kipp school when im in Middle school and my freind thats going with me is going to be in 5th grade.
