This game had the ability to really suck you in in a weird kinda way. Very interesting game and the soundtrack is great, adds to the emotion of it all for sure. I'm not a gamer but this one had me hooked, didn't want to leave it.

Great song. I disagree that the level of technology wasn't there for them to make it a better game. It just wasn't fleshed out enough. There should have been a lot more to do in the game to justify such a large open world. I still loved playing it because it wasn't just a typical shooter, or just a simple adventure puzzle game. It was more like a 3rd person action RPG that we have today. They should have expanded a lot more.

i heard somewhere that they are making a omikron 2 called omikron KARMA comes out for PC,x-box 360 and PS3but...its first coming out somezhere in summer 2010

Who knows if it WILL come out. On April 6 2005, Omikron 2 and a new franchise, Infraworld, were announced to be in development. Still one of my favorite games though, right alongside shenmue and indigo prophecy.

man... I hope that they make an Omikron 2 finally instead of all this "Indigo Prophecy" and "Heavy Rain". I really hope they hurry up with all that copyright crap or whatever it is that's keeping them from the sequel. It WOULD be awesome if they could remake this with better quality as well. That'd be the friggin best. And put it on 360 or something. on PC I'd have requirement problems since I've got a laptop with Vista. Need more ram. plz Xbox.

Immersion, depth and originality. This has what's been lost in modern gaming. The man tapping his finger in time to the music in this vid speaks volumes for the above. This game IS hard, but that's because it's REAL in a way most games are not. The characters and world are sophisticated, the story convoluted. It is this that sets these great games apart.

i got so stuck in this game. The roberry at the mall happens, and this head honcho guy has a tekken style fight with you. I never win, and as soon as you lose thats it. you get revived and i dont know how to make any progress after that. it was a clever game with lots of freedom and potential, but i just couldnt grasp it at all

The Supermarket Robbery is actually only a side-quest of the game. It doesn't affect the whole game plot. You may lose and let the thief escape. If you beat him, you'll get a Mana Potion. That's it. You still can proceed throughout the game.

This game kinda brings out the best of David I mean they both go hand in hand and i love David and this Game. Still have my D-Cas. I hope to have a sequel or remake of this and the D2 hopefully to come out

Yes and no, see QaunticDream is a really small company and I mean really small. They have very little staff so thats why they released very few games. But they have been working on Omikron 2: KARMA in between games.

They also said they might work on it after Heavey Rain has ben realsed.

I love that game, but this is David Bowie's song! Bowie was the perfect fit in that game surreal world! It was a very nice addition to those night clubs seeing Bowie on the scene!

I have it on discs but I would buy re-edition more stable on win7 (still managed to finish on w7) and with even sligthly updated graphics ANY time for even double regular-title price :) And I agree no other artist would fit so perfectly in this game... First game to have motion capture, and till today that's the best use of this technology so far :)

Actually Omikron was release 6/22/00..

This game fell victim to Over Hype and Being forced out the door before it was finished.

Its a shame too this game showed us things that we have never seen before in a game. It was a good efford by Eidos.

The Omikron Story is phenominal I hope some game company picks it up and does a revamp on it. I would sure pick it up again.
