  • Nice job!

  • Absolutely loved the vid!!!

  • Espectáculo...bom vídeo e pessoal que sabe andar nos limites...multistrada five stars

  • I've ridden my entire life and these guys are both fast and particularly good -- also look relatively safe, except for the pass of the truck by the follow bike (GS), which looked mid corner and a bit of a leap of faith -- other than that, I guess I wish I could ride that fast!

  • Fantastic riding and fantastic lines! :) I've just taken a Mutistrada S around Wales for the weekend and what an awesome bike...I'm just jealous I didn't take it over these Spanish roads instead of some slimey, wet British roads.

  • Everyone wants or needs a iPhone 4s for FREE. Text (txtme iPhone) To (368638) to get it.

  • Top riding from both guys, all negative comments are frankly laughable. Can I suggest a bracket for mini camcorders that you might get on with if you do this kind of filming often, it's called a 'fat gecko' and it's got an ultra strong sucker that'll even fix to curved surfaces like your lid. I use mine with a Flip Ultra HD camera (720p). Anyway, top riding, top vid.

  • You guys are really awsome drivers... and contrary to what a comment suggested, you keep remarkably safe trajectories.

A question about the Multi, which I consider switching to (from a 1200RT). Would you say that the additional technology coming (at a price) with the S model is a real must compared to the plain 1200 model?

  • The skill of the Multistrada rider and the greater power and street handling is evident but you gotta hand it to the GS guys for keeping up that well. Sport touring poetry gentlemen. Try a GoPro HD running 60fps 720 for best picture. Spaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiin! Drooooool!

  • In response to "commodor....." The chap on the Ducati, me, actually has several years race experience and has the advanced police training certification. There is nothing wrong at all in using the other side of the road if nothing is coming, it opens up a corner, allowing for a smoother, faster entry and exit. Again, this assumes you can see through the corner. Please dont leave pointless nonconstructive comments, it makes you look like and idiot, and you are obviously not!!

  • Two idiots driving to often in the wrong lane. A diving school is urgently needed.

  • Stu,

Yes, we both have had sports bikes. I had just sold an RC8R which I loved but unless you had perfect conditions it was just not that appealing. The multi is just one of those bikes you dont mind using in the wet. Still miss a sports bike though as the multi just cannot be quite as sharp but still great fun. And as you say, stick all the luggage on, and then have some fun.

Off to Spain in a couple of weeks so might sort another vid!!

    Spence

  • @yamahay426 I agree mate, if i could afford two bikes i might just have a new shape Blade tucked in the garage for a mid week blast or an early morning dawn raid on a Sat/Sun morning, but, i cant see me swapping the Tiger anytime soon, unless its for another Adventure style bike, Multistrada maybe??? lol.

Which part of Spain is this pal? we do Germany most years but we're thinking about Spain for a change so any ideas would be grateful, cheers Stu.

  • Great vid lads!! i presume you guys have jumped off sports bikes within the last couple of years??? well i have..swapped an 08 R1 for a new Triumph Tiger 1050 SE, put Maxton fork internals and a Maxton rear shock on it and i'm having more fun than ever!! i do Europe every year too, now i can get there comfortable, with ease, luggage strapped to it no probs....then take my brain out when i get there,,,,similar to you two by the looks of it lololol

  • My mate Carl used Metzeler Road Attacks, one of the sportiest tires you can get for the GS.

  • I'm curious what tires do you have on the GS? Don't tell me it's the standard Metzeler Tourance 'cause I won't believe it!

  • Woow, just grat! And the sound of the ducati is a dreeeamm!

  • Brasletti - for this video I used a cable tie and cable tied the iphone4 to the plastic lens cover on my mates GS. Worked like a dream but did have some insects on it by the end!

  • Great vid and riding! May I ask how did u fix the iphone on the bike? Thx!

  • Great video and great riders. Guy on the Multi is a twisty killer

  • WOW!!!!!

I myself cruised there last year....and not slow!

    But you are amazing! Wow!

  • great video!!!!!!!!!! keep on having fun with safe brothers

  • .... respekt!!

  • Wow great video! I really want the multistrada s as my streebike but that price is killing me. Might wait until some used ones are available next year :(

  • That was awesome!, love the multi.

  • Some great footage here. Which of the 2 bikes would you recommend for the commute + scratching fun as both seem to cut it well!!!

  • @Crankmeister - It has to be the multi, the GS is a great bike, it really is, but the multi does everything the GS does (apart from the off road bit, which I would not want to do on either), yet the multi can scratch too! In both my vids I never pushed the multi past mid-drange, it is so much faster than the GS. The GS just runs out of revs when it is trying to chase and feels so much bigger to hustle around. If it was just to commute, the GS is a lot closer. For you, its the Ducati!!

  • Thanks smagliulo:)

  • Great road, great moto and great rider!!! Compliments to the multistrada rider!!!

  • May be that you are right ... But to be honest i suppose that the driver crossed at 4:31 in this video seems to not have your same opinion...

    Have a good road...

  • But whats too fast!! Don't really judge this as that fast.

I assume you are saying that its stupid to go fast?! Assuming this is what you are trying to say, then maybe it is, but its fun and down to the individual to make a calculated judgment, these are open, corners which you can see through, not actually very high risk to be honest. But thanks for the comment.

  • sorry man ... go too fast on normal road is always for stupid ...
