It's my favourite song cos it's so cheery and hopeful. Most of the songs from this movie are great. I used to like the sad songs, but now, it depresses me if I listen for too long. :-)

《我在你左右》had been my favourite song since I was small. I could sing it from beginning to end without knowing what it meant. It was only when I grew up that I fully appreciated its meaningful lyrics.

Movie was from Malaysia or Taiwan? for sure it is not from China. Because in 1968 China still in culture revolution. Love was not allowed. It was Bourgeoisie:-)

This movie was from Taiwan. The male lead was 杨群 and the female lead was 汤兰花。汤兰花 was just 18 or 19 then. She is from the 皺族 tribe.
