Omg really. I modded my ps2 so much and all you can mainly get it to do is a chop top mod and overclock it a little. Other than that you might aswell get a ps3 or just build a pc. Its more fun and you can do more with it :)

Hi. I have a new ps2 slim, the SCPH 90001 with only two screws in the back. I've tried opening it, but I don't know if it's due to my wimpy hands or whatever, but 3/4 of the console is completely shut since there were only two screws. ... Should I still try to open it... or leave it alone? Because with two of the sensors blocked, SwapMagic is "read" about 20% of the time. It's annoying. :/

You don't need Swap Magic. You just need a actual original PSX game to put in the PS2 to get a disc icon in the browser. When you get to the browser, highlight the game and switch the actual PSX game for the one you burned. Because the lid sensor is covered, the PS2 will think the lid never opened and you can play the burned copy of your game.

i couldn't help but hear some ret@rded comments to the maker of the video, so im here to clarify.

to begin with, just like the bigger ps2 u need to find a way that u can open the top out to switch the disc. what disc. there is a disc that u need to buy to trick the system so that it thinks that it is playing ps brand game( this disc is call swapmagic). the second is that the censer, if the disc is taken out and the system is able to detect it then the disc(swapamgic) wont work.
