Damn... I remember back when I practically worshipped slayer in the mid 90's, everyone said they were soft and weren't gonna last any longer. So many people, especially magazine writer's, counted them off as a bunch of posers who would be leaving metal soon with metallica. They'd go on and on about them playing with Ice-T, Atari Teenage Riot, and touring with White Zombie, and draw parallels to metallica, "Is slayer giving up on metal? Will it be today? Tomorrow?" And then they just got heavier.
