  • great tune

  • Bring me back to seeing them at the old Zephyr Club in SLC back in early 90s... Thanks for the memories of great times gone by.

  • Listening for the first time. See you guys in Chicago in a month. Awesome!

  • one of my all time favorite songs.. damn i miss the samples

  • Definitely one of my top favorite songs thus far in my life. Glad Sean didn't get struck by lightning. Kudos!

  • Gaia, I love this song.

  • Sean, I just sent this video to a couple little hippies who live in my building.

Beautiful, evocative work. Thanks for it.

  • nice song..one of my fav's

  • How I didn´t find this wonderful band before? I tought I had heard the best music in the 90s, but it was a hidden diamond to me since now...

    Cheers from Brasil.

  • Saw them in Telluride CO a few yrs ago and they are still good!

  • MUCH LOVE!!!!!!

  • Great song!

  • Love and peace to all of our children. Parent as you will, but please leave shelter.

  • SEAN: if there was justice in this world, this song would have been all over the airwaves

  • MIght have ended up like the guy from the Yardbirds, Keith Relf. Love your stuff.

  • what kind of guitar is that?

  • I grew up in Colorado but currently live in NYC. Everytime I miss Colorado, I play The Samples.

  • Cool video, good band, electric hair and an electric guitar..

  • Hair standing on end......"St Elmos Fire" When it feels like bee's buzzing and teeth crakling! Loooogout! I've had that twice in Colorado and a nearby lightning strike. This is one of my Samples fav's. Especially the Live from Colorado vesion at Red Rocks. Hope to catch ya at 2010 mi. hi. music fest........With a great big f ' ing smile !

  • When Sean's on, he's Sr8 Nasty....

  • i first heard the samples in isla vista, santa barbara, the fall of 1990. the samples were there for me all thru out college poverty years and sunset surf sessions. in '06 i met sean in encinitas ca. at the belly up ,with my then pregnant wife.....my life had gone full circle....i love the samples! thanks sean and crew.

  • we made this video on top of some building in Denver. Five more seconds on that roof and we all would have been struck by lightning. My hair was starting to show static electricity which is usually right before you get hit! Another lucky day.

  • @seankelly205 Sean - this remains one of my favorite songs ever. Takes me way back to my college days and some fantastic memories, and to this day, whenever I'm feeling a little blue, I know I can put on some Samples tunes, especially this song, and it'll really lift my spirits. Music is everywhere, but music like yours is very rare.

  • Do you guys plan on touring ever again? Saw you at the House of Blues here in Chicago 5 years ago.

  • SEAN! hopefully i get to see you guys in denver at the mile high fest. good luck to ya brother. hope all is well!!!!!

  • @seankelly205

Mile High Music Festival- My hair was starting to show static electricity which is usually right before I get hit by some incredible music. Another lucky day.

    Sweet!!!

  • @seankelly205 everything you write really gets my feet moving - very, very nice...

  • @seankelly205 right behind my apartment building!

  • I have followed the Samples since the early 90's ever since i met Sean in Vermont. They rock!

  • I have so many associations with the music of the Samples, I can play certain songs and be right where I was when I first heard them. This is one of my all time favorite songs, by my favorite band ever.

  • AWESOME!

    Thanks for this!

  • Your music touches the soul. Best band ever!

  • bought this cassette in '93 on the $1.99 rack at Dadeland mall in Miami Florida. FAN FOR LIFE!

  • Best Samples song ever!

  • been a fan since early 1990's/ met my husband and loved u and realized that college friends loved u 2. Keep up the good music. Stuff my kids know (was burned onto their baby CD"s) and they will love 4ever. Vermont - a great state i love and wish i lived in but glad my kids are "part Vermont" hilary, perry anne and quinn lee HARRINGTON

  • Nice CASIO guitar with electrical tape! It made alot of the sounds of the samples in the 90s! Funny the cable is just laying on the roof in downtown Boulder connected to nothing! I think this was when Al was "away" from the band for a while. I saw several shows in 93 or 94 where it was only these three. Sometimes they filled in with recorded keys, but still put out a great show!

  • Heh. Samples songs remind me of being passed out drunk in the dorms at The Univ of Colorado-Boulder in 1991. They put on some great shows at Tulagi's. Jeep was a hell of a drummer...

  • Tulagi's was great! Saw them with Fiction Plane at the Southgate House in Covington, KY in '04(or '05) GREAT CONCERT! Liam (Sean's Bro.) and me partied in Denver a few times. Quite the artistic family. Keep makin' the music, Seany Boy!

  • sean and his rotating cast of bandmates continue to put out a brand all their own.Keep on rockin'samples no matter who is in the band.

  • Man I love this song, and this music - so fresh and full of energy! 'ten wheeels' is an awesome doc.

where's Al Laughlin in this vid by the way? is he filming?

  • Been a fan for 18 or more years.

    You got to love YouTube.

  • Well, deny all they want, I still have mine. My band was called Lincoln Conspiracy.

  • you ever see "ten wheels"? i love that doc. short but sweet. my band opened for them once. it was a dream come true for me. it was in 2002 when sam was in the band.

  • Yeah, I used to remeber when Jeep used to use only a snare, cymbal and no bass drum.LOL!! What is the deal with this video?
