I don't remember that name of the brand. Like I said, it was an off brand. And it was dirt cheap. All mufflers will sound pretty much the same on a Camry of that body style.
i dont have the camry anymore, i didnt say it was fast or would win any races, i simply stated that for a 2.2 liter with roughly 130 horsepower on a 4 door sedan, not to mention a 1993, mine had 240000 miles on it, it was a fairly quick car, by no means fast, but it had more pep than you would expect

I got a 96' Camry. I just took the oringinal piping off and ran 2.5'' piping all the way to the back with no muffler. It sounds like a beast now. Cost 100 dollars to do. Sounds betta than all these Camrys 4real.

It's actually an off-brand believe it or not, got it brand new off of eBay for $25 plus shipping (add. $20). And I got it installed for $50. And to top it all off, it sounds GREAT! Especially on a Camry!
Flowmaster does make a muffler for small displacement 4 cylinder called the 60 Series but it might not work because my Camry doesn't make enough pressure for it. And it's over a $100 just for the muffler. I'll come across something good soon.

heck yeah. thats the way to go. i didnt choose my camry when i had it (93 v6 xle) but it was badass. green w/ white 18s on it...had custom exhaust and stuff. that car sounded S1CK but..if u gotta work with it do the 3s-gte swap. pick up modified mag for this month, they've got a 2dr 93 or 94 that did it. 300+whp ^_^ happy motoring.
Sweetness! I'll be sure to check that out, it's pretty interesting to work on a Camry, since not a lot of people do things to them. PLUS, it's good to be different, I'm tired of seeing the samething cough:honda civic:cough with a bodykit/rims/etc. You gotta myspace, I'd like to check the Camry out if ya still have it.

It was actually an off brand on ebay, lol. From what I hear, regardless what kinda muffle you put on, they will all typically sound similar.

Yeah the car is all stock with a short ram air intake on it. And it's just an after market no name muffler.

I couldn't tell you, I do not see a difference in gas mileage, a small increase in hp. I'm about to get a loan and get a turbo kit.

I wouldn't recommend doing that with a 4 cyl. It will sound like poop. Now a V6 on the other hand might sound pretty good.
