As Gary has stated in many interviews, Exodus secretly admired Ratt and Dokken and they are very open about it these days (just watch the behind the scenes dvd from the Exodus live at Wacken DVD)
haha man this is hilarious. I love the machoism tough-guy persona that metal heads feel they must always project. When do you think they will grow out of this lame "school boy " attitude? I might like pantera, ratt and the beatles. Who gives a fuck its all great/fun music!
@faithycoins If you saw the live performance footage in the beginning of this clip, you would see this is at the NAMM show and the event was a tribute to Dimebag and a lot of rock stars were hanging in the bar after wards so we combined it all in this clip.
ratt where actually pretty heavy on the ep if you say the ep is poser metal your truly a idiot...they werent all hairspray and make up like poison or bon jovi shit your cant even mention that shit when it comes to RATT they where the heavist thing to come out of the hair metal scene
That's funny because it was so true. You'd get kicked in the teeth if anyone knew you liked Ratt, but we all dug Warren. If it wasn't for Stephen's antics and douchiness they probably would have been a lot more respected at the time.
they should bow to warren-he's the onlyone not acting like a total jackass idiot lol..class act that guy surrounded bymorons.feel sorry for him lmaoooo
The funny thing here is that they should be equally making fun of Pantera - they started off as a pop metal band and, to be honest, I think Ratt were cooler than Pantera in that regard (i.e. the stuff that Pantera did on those first three albums was way more corny than anything Ratt did).
Another irony about the mockery on display here is that Ratt's debut EP was a truly heavy record.
On his old message board, Juan said that Warren was friends with Dime and Dime was a big fan of Ratt.
Exodus ^& Vio-lence are "poser Metal"???Back in the day it was suicide to wear a Ratt t-shirt & spandex pants to an Exodus or Vio-lence gig,the crowd there would stomp you in to the ground for it as commercial glam was and still is considered poser metal.
@realitycheckstudio tbh the whole "poser metal" thing is dumb and immature.plus most of those hair metal bands were really rippin players.george lynch and warren make kirk hammett look like an amateur
its funny seeing the bay area thrash guys (especially exodus) talking with warren the l.a. strip guy. at least they dont hate eachother anymore non of that kill the posers stuff
edge299. Warren has great hands. None of the rest of them have that and they all know it. That is why they are teasing him. Also he knows he rules them, at least in that sort of way, concerning guitar technique. Hands on stuff.

Thrash metal back in the day was all about narrowmindedness.
It's sad that these wankers haven't changed.
Look at Metallica, narrowminded as hell back in the 80's!!!
Trash, Posermetal, glam, commercial, Who gives a fuck!!!!
Music is music, there's good and there is bad!!!
Don't be narrowminded!!!
Warren demartini is a rock god!!!

I think a lot of thrashers were into Ratt. Warren wails on the second album. . .

Yeah the ratt ep was f'n heavy, on early pressings of metal massacre 1 the track "tell the world" was on it.

It would be good if those fucking losers would shut the fuck up and let Warren speak.
Guitar God + poser metalhead faggots = bad interview.
