Why do some people think it needs to be regulated like alcohol? It is not harmful, kills 0 people, has health benefits, promotes peaceful thinking, grows naturally from the ground, and if anything makes a person drive slower and more carefully when high. You dont hear about people swerving all over the road and crashing on pot. Is there still some propaganda swirling around in people's heads that makes them think it is evil to use, or am I missing something? Legalize it completely.

I really think that the war on drugs globally is a failure. We need to rethink the whole effort, i do believe that harsh drugs should be severely restricted. Marijuana should be legalized and regulated just like alcohol an age limit, and maybe a license to do so, although i cannot imagine what questions you would ask someone in order to verify they are eligible to smoke pot.

The legalization of marijuana would do more good that the further illegalization of it.

we`re going to make this happen! already in my country, argentina, the supreme curt has ruled on a case of simple possession, so it`s not "illegal" anymore to walk with one or two joints in your pocket, nor the police`d crush your door if you`re growing just a couple of plants for yourself...

Legalizing pot is definitely going to be complicated but there's no reason why it can't be controlled the way they control booze. Seriously tho it causes so much less drama than alcohol and like he said people dont get hospitalized or die because of it so the taxes SHOULD be lesser than that of alcohol but I'm sure they'll tax the shit out of it anyway

Right on man, you know what's good. One point I like to bring out on this subject of whether it's good/bad is that has anyone seen someone flip out or get angry and or violent whilst they're high? 100% of the time I'm answered with no. It does not have the same effects as alcohol, namely, violence and sexual offences. If you were high you would see differently to hitting a stranger at a bar or forcibly making a move on some helpless girl. Several MPs have resigned over pot not being legal also..

If it gets legalized with all this red tape around it and still costs the same as it does now that's gonna be corny. Better than it is now but still corny, I don't think that should be the goal. It should be treated as an herb that's medicinal, not like alcohol.
