Yeah, Grohl is great and, apart from writing well, he plays well. But his lyrics are too Nirvana-ish, you know, Kurt syle, simple and without sense most of the time, too abstract. But he's awsome, I really like his songs. And about his guitar skills, as I said, he plays wonderfully and has brilliant songs, but are quite simple, not to be compared to Stairway To Heaven or Wish You Were Here.

Well when asked about how much better this last album was than the one before and how much better they can get, his guitarist said they are still a long way from their "hotel California" but they are moving forward. P.S. I used up all of my stairway to heaven tolerance 20 years ago. Overplayed to the nth degree and treated like some kind of holy scripture by aging boomers.
