It was a very good film, but trust me on this folks, in comparison to the original comic it isn't in the ha'penny place. The comic is one of the true bibles of anarchy, and one of the greatest animated stories ever written. The film is the triumph of democracy over facism (boring and done to death before), the comic, anarchy over totalitarianism. An original idea and the reason Alan Moore wanted nothing to do with the film.

Every time i watch this video I cry because I am in love with V and there is nothing ever going to satisfy that desire but the character himself. :'(

I got it real bad for him because of his mannerism and how he treats Evey. He's even a gentleman with Delia, the doctor he kills. The apron, goofing off with the suit of armor, and his general dashing demeanor, has made me fall in love with V completely.

I LOVE this movie. It is sad that not many people know too much about it. It has a great plot, an awesome message, and characters you really start to care for. This is one of my favourite movies, it has romance, wisdom, and lots of action!!! What more could you ask for? This montage was also well done, the song was haunting and beautiful, I love 0:25 because the piano almost exactly matches the steps of the characters! Absolutely brilliant!!! XD

I think in some ways it was just right that V died in the end, even though I cried like a baby when it happened. I wouldn't have been satisfied with the film as a whole if he'd have run away with Evey and lived happily ever after.

Perfect movie, perfect ending. Fuck the reviews, it's a fucking amazing film. It surpasses just about all of the filmmaking in the world over the past 20 years, and I was disgusted at how underrated it was.
