  • It's a ship... Bay of Biscay .. Rough waters.U

  • why are the lamps mooving, is there an earthquik

  • Marco rocks!

  • legendary chef

  • Aww it stopped just as he was talking about his Yew Tree Inn lol

  • He handed in his stars because he believed that a true chef earns the stars behind the stove cooking. He decided to retire from the kitchen, so he felt it would be dishonest to keep the stars. Don't shit on him for being honest.

  • He looks very relaxed and enjoying himself its great to see him not under pressure cooking from his heart again :)

  • Paddy said he sold out and went down to stock cubes? That may be or may not, what do I know about it? But what I surely do know is that Marco doesn't give a shit ;)

  • after watching several videos of marco explaining how to cook something, i get the feeling that he enjoys instructing. but then again, he's had to do a lot of instructing of up and coming chefs over the years at his restaurants, so maybe it's something he's gotten used to and now enjoys doing at a less stressful pace.

  • that is one shaky cruise

  • LMAO at 0:51 !

    Was that on the Titanic?

  • Marco has always considered himself cheap and a bargain despite being first rate. It's pretty ridiculous to judge ANYONE making an honest living like Marco does.

  • Just to meet the man would be enough, he made such an impact in the culinary world.. Lucky people!! Having class from the Master himself.

  • yeah I suppose that sounds good..it only takes having no life for 20 years to get the chance and of course it is like getting a driving lesson from Niki Lauda..unless you are up there as well most of it is wasted.

  • I'd say giving a couple of cooking lessons isn't in return for a free cruise and quite a bit of lot of money isn't such a bad deal.

  • @paddy he handed the 3 stars because he knew he can get them and doesn't need the mechelin establishment to prove it. Also he had his kids then and wanted to spend more time with them and therefore became a restauranteur than a chef. Also if u don't want ur pathetic life (which is written all over your pathetic posts) then don't judge Marco cos u barely know him. U have no clue. Ignorant !!

  • @Nidodafish I think he really pissed the Michelin institution off when he did that. Because he asserted, quite rightly, that as a world class chef/ restaurateur he did know more about his craft than the inspectors, and that he was constantly "playing a defending game" in order to keep his three stars. I think by rejecting the Michelin guide he was able to be free and do what he really wanted to do. I believe the Michelin guide is French biased, and forces chefs to stifle creativity. MPW rules!

  • @Nidodafish he gave back his stars becuz he thought to himself...why should he impress those who dont even have the knowledge of food that he has...so ever since then...he dont care about awards and shit...but i wanna see him kill jamie oliver....UK MAKE IT HAPPEN....I WANT TO SEE THEM WIPE THE FLOOR AGAINST EACH OTHER

  • @Nidodafish i see someone's been doing some reading.

  • @Nidodafish very well said honey!

  • @jw88hk your welcome. I wish I had longer memory in the cam. The lesson was meant to be 1 hour but he took his time chatting to us and cooking he made it 3 hrs. Such a nice person he is.

  • paddy shut up

  • Thank you for your time taking this video^^

  • Paddy> how do you begin to conclude that?

the man owns several restaurants worldwide, needless to mention joint ventures like ship restaurants and Frankie's italian grill and bar. This is other than his many tv appearances in commercials and programs and several books.

the fact that he took out some time of his busy schedule to have a cooking demonstration for an audience doesnt mean he is selling cheap or reducing himself.

I bet its more than you will ever achieve in ur 'narrow' life.

  • @Nidodafish You dont know anything about me and my life so I suggest you dont comment on it.

As for marco, yes he has sold out. He went from being a 3 star chef to doing tv ads for stock cubes.

  • @paddymourinho Ahem, fyi, he gave back his stars because he was being judged by uptight snooty-assed people who think they know food. As for stock cubes, people underrate them way too much. Would you say that Joel Robuchon, the undisputed chef of the century in the whole world is a sell out because he advocates the use of stock cubes given the proper circumstances?

Marco himself said he's not a cooking purist, if stock cubes produce better flavour than salt and pepper then stock cubes it is.

  • @Zephilindrum thank you for taking the time to miss the point.

  • @paddymourinho He said it himself in an interview years ago, in the end, all that matters are the results, and not the methods of achieving them. I myself have tried his Steak challenge, the stock cube paste triumphed over salt and pepper every single time. It's like he said, it's basically a salt cube, except with more flavour in it.

Yeah, it's not natural, but who cares? It's not like you cheated or anything.

  • pathetic...the great marco, reduced to this. because of money.

  • @paddymourinho I see what you're saying, paddy. A little harsh, but partially agree. I wouldn't say "pathetic" as bluntly. Marco is better cook than Gordon Ramsay for sure. When in comes to business and being an exciting TV personality. Marco isn't anywhere near Ramsay there. Marco had what? Two divorces? The man gotta eat. But he'll always be the best cook.

  • @paddymourinho He diden,t go "down to stock cubes" he was a profeesional chef and restauranter he got to the top of his game and then retired. He could still run a 3 star kitchen to the hughest standerds hes cooking for the home cook and showing people how to cook at home your just being a snob.

  • @MrMGD92 Now I know you are a pretentious git.

  • @Thespeakerofmanytru8 LOL,you sound so stupid did you even read my comment? I was saying the guy was a snob for being so pretentious and your still a shit troll :P

  • @Thespeakerofmanytru8 LOL,and you know me do you?You know what I like and don,t like?I like the beatles because I think they made brilliant music I don,t like all of their songs. My whole family is artistic :)

  • @MrMGD92 Drawing pictures of each other with crayons is hardly artistic, you probably mean autistic.....sounds like one of you is dyslexic.

  • @Thespeakerofmanytru8 Please don,t make personal comments towards my family I haven,t made any towards your family I am only pissing about with you.

  • @MrMGD92 Ha Ha you love your family. Ha Ha they are "special" Ha Ha. You are a good little hipster and love your magic family. Just admit you are a hipster scum and I'l shut up.

  • @Thespeakerofmanytru8 LOL,you sound so dumb.Your still a shit troll.:) You don,t know anything about me or my family so to make comments on them is just fucking dumb.

  • @MrMGD92 They are inbred paedophiles who rape children.

  • @paddymourinho Nonsense!!! What's pathetic is some tart with money, and a camera, trying to be clever and investigate by punching questions towards a great chef, who's just trying to make an honest living.
