Wonderfully performed. I would love to hear more Roussel on YouTube. Especially two pieces hard find recorded - Invocations, and Resurrection (excuse the absence of French titles).

Yay! Roussel goes so often ignored these days, sadly. He's one of my favourite composers, especially for Flute and Harp :) Thanks for posting!

Very nice played! But Pièrne had apparently composed two Impromptu's? This one, and Impromptu-Caprice? I have started with Impromptu-Caprice, and I know it very different :P

My dear, you are right, this Impromptu is by Albert Roussel, it was a mistake, I have played the Impromptu-Caprice by Pierne as well and might have mixed up. The title is corrected and I appreciate your comment.
