  • thats easy to make

  • how its the song called?

  • yea kool soundin song

  • whats the name of the song!?

  • I had to do this for my freshman video production class... It was hell to shoot, but really fun and easy to edit.

I'm the big dork in the class, I had to completely edit about 5 or 6 projects other people did... :\

  • you just have a twin brother :D:D nice vid

  • not to judge cause i dont know how to do it, but you can see the light changing. awesome anyways

  • great song !!! Used in one of the greatest movies... Pulp Fiction , what else ?

  • there was a ghost in the living room! 0_o

  • cazy stuff man cazy stuff (O)_(0)

  • Nice. But how do i know it's not just somebody with the same cloth as you? you cant even see the head of the second person. But cool done.

  • its called adobe after effects or sony vegas

  • um where do i download

  • natural light= cloning death

i could see the garbage matte line you should of feathered it a bit to make it blend better..but good work!

  • omg "How to clone yourself" ? More like I cloned myself, you didnt show us how noob.

  • LOL Sakeherrst no offense but.....

youre the one who doesnt know how and he does but ur calling him a noob XD

  • Good job but i have to say you can see the line that separates the bodys.

  • Poorly framed. The whole point of cloning is to see that it is the same person. You have you head cropped off for most the clip. Besides that good work

  • nice one!! the only thing that i noticed was when you clone walked by you, you could see the line between the two vids, but other than that, great job!

  • The apple was a nice touch in selling the effect.

If you feel so inclined, please see what you think of my split-screen test... admittedly, it got a little more involved than I had planned initially, but you may get a kick. It's called "Death Blow". Thanks for sharing!

  • nice!

  • Good work man! ; D 5 stars!

  • This dosent tell us how to do this...hence the name :(

    1 star for false advertisement

  • You're wrong, you didn't read the title. When some one uses the word EFFECT - they are showing you the effect, not the tutorial.

  • yeah but your still saying HOW, so therefore you're supposed to show us HOW to do it... Otherwise it would just be Effect: Myself Cloned

  • Your wrong, the title is false.

  • stuevo is right

  • lol that was awsome!

  • Good effect!

  • cool vid 4 stars

you could have had it so that you could see the clone's face better :)

  • Dude that was great but you should have added a mask feather.

  • wow. that was real good. especially getting the orange and the refelction in the glass. just awesome. what program did you use?

  • Thanks for the kind comments, i used adobe premiere for this one, but you can do even easier in sony vegas. It's a simply split screen effect really, just got the timing right and moved the 'split' 2 or 3 times to achieve the effect of passing the orange. :-)

  • Almost seemless! That was awesome. If you could be so kind to send me detailed instructions on how i can do this, that would be great. I have Sony Vegas btw. Thanks

  • Interacting with your clones is all about smoke and mirrors :) (and a lot of masking work). You almost could just sync up your right side clone to take the orange at the same time the left side clone offers it, if you did it right and kept the shadows under control no one would notice you were using the post for the transfer... Nice re-enactment videos by the way, really enjoyed them.

  • Big thank you helishorn! More to come! :-)

  • How did you interact with yourself?

  • um i hate 2 be wrong but how are we even supposed 2 know if its a clone with special effects? It could just be somebody else dressed up as you cuz u didnt even show the clones face

  • I see your point, but of course its special effects, it's not even that good really, check out my other videos - special effects is what i do - this was easy to do.

  • that was really good!

  • cool =]

    avoid use white shirts =]

they reflect the light in the wall

  • I see the split, but you can barely notice it. Great vid. Especially giving an item to a clone! xD

  • Hey buddy :) I tried out this effect, coupled with another special effect after learning them quite some time ago .. with multiple splits I was able to acheieve this shot (Double-Take 2 in my videos) without using After Effects, Blue Screen, extras, doubles or string. Shot with the new Panasonic HVX-200. I welcome your comments :)

  • wot program i been trying to find out how to do this 4 ages can i download the program 4m anywhere

  • I used Adobe Premiere. Visit the Adobe website for more info on the program. You can also use Sony Vegas 6.0 to do this.

  • fanx ill try it see how i do lol :s

  • is any of that free?

  • 30-day trial downloads are free yes, you can get them by doing a google search :-)

  • thanks

  • Hey this is so much better made than the one I made. And the music is nice too. Good job.

  • Thanks mate! I'm thinking of doing a new one because I can do a lot better than this now... possibly even 3 or 4 of me in one scene, all interacting.

  • Heh, I love the music. Gives the whole thing a funny touch. I like it :)

  • Thanks, I had the pulp fiction soundtrack to hand when I made this!

  • lol this one really made me laugh... And that was a great choice of music! Can you maybe tell me how you did that? I'm trying something similiar by myself.

  • Firstly I used Adobe Premiere. I filmed myself twice (once sitting and once walking in) obviously 'acting' as if i'm interacting with myself. Then it's basically a splitscreen type effect, but in order to pass an object to your self you have to move the split a couple of times (left & right) throughout the video - trial and error will help you understand what you have to do - if you pause the video above at 00:31 you can see the split just left of my shoulder.
