Pepsi Cola Loop, Ocean Beach, Rhyl

I've ridden this before, except it's called Turbo and it's on Brighton Pier.

@1996Coaster - You have ridden one LIKE this one...the ride at Brighton Pier has been there since 2003...this coaster was at Rhyl in Wales from 1989 until 2007. They are two different coasters but of the same design.

@davidjellis it was great, but it really is rough, I had a massive headache which also distracts you from the actual ride.

ahh that brings me memories. i was 7 when i rode that it wasnt scary atall but its a good ride. shame the fairs gone now. the blue borders still round it 2 years later :( the rides in prestatyn ffrith ive heard

best version of pinfari looper is the one at m and d's amusement park near sterling, Scotland. Two loops and a single corkscrew. One word.....ROUGH!!......but tremendous fun!!

Sadly,they removed the corkscrew element recently. still a good ride though!!

Two Words...VERY ROUGH! I have ridden Tornado, and to date it is still the only coaster in the world that has caused a fatal error message on my camcorder when filming! Glad the inversion count is down to 2...perhaps that might help? Still fail to see how M&Ds got away with using a faked photo of Dragon Khan to advertise it!

You are correct - a Model ZL42 coaster by the Italian company Pinfari. I beleive there are 18 of these worldwide. Good spot!

The Pepsi Loop is now at Ffrith Beach but is not built up as yet. The Nessi and the Dodgems are also there but not built up.

The classic Waltzers and the Spiral Slide are built up and operational at weekends.
