I have a question, I'm new to Christ (I just went to church for the first time last Sunday). I have 2 girlfriends that my wife doesn't know about so obviously I have to lie when I go out to handle my "business". As long as I ask Jesus to forgive me the next day, am I safe? Those that believe in the myths and superstitions of our ancestors should be pitied. It's not their fault. The Indoctrination of children is the main culprit. Children tend to believe their parents and those they look up to. It is then difficult or impossible to dismiss or think critically for oneself.
1.5 billion people believe Muhammad flew to heaven on a winged horse. Millions of people believed in Zeus and Thor. One day christ will be like the thousands of other dead and forgotten gods.

Something cannot come from nothing. Life can't come from non-life. The incredible intricacy of the human body didn't throw itself together by a succession of random accidents. Human nature drives us to seek answers to life's unanswered questions. We desire to know how we got here & how the Earth and galaxies were formed. It is not impossible to have victory over sin. But it is impossible to be perfect and never have sin. So, when we have a recurrent sin, and we realize "This is just not right, what I'm doing, but I don't know if I can change or how to change..." If you pray to God from your heart, with honesty, He eventually will deliever you from this sin. I believe! Just because it is hard we can't give up. The secret is to ask GOD to deliver you , instead of "trying to do it from will power only" ask Jesus

Must correct you because biblically you are wrong. Jesus died for ALL sins. He forgives 70x7 meaning He's not really counting. There is only one unpardonable sin--blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. If you are a Christian (and from this man's comments, it wouldn't appear he has a relationship with Jesus) you wouldn't want to continue sinning because it hurts you and others. Also, it's taking advantage of God's wonderful grace and mercy for us.

I have a question, I'm new to Christ (I just went to church for the first time last Sunday). I have 2 girlfriends that my wife doesn't know about so obviously I have to lie when I go out to handle my "business". As long as I ask Jesus to forgive me the next day, am I safe? Or do I have to say a certain prayer or read the bible? I have a date Saturday so I'd appreciate an answer before then. Thanks.

I'm not an expert, such as you seem to think you are, so I can't say that Unicorns and Leprechauns existing is impossible. They may not be living now, but their existance has never been disproven either. Has it? and the reproven after that?
Time is mans creation, and the universe, and life's creator isn't set by the same restrictions, so that all at once, could have been up to billions of years.
If believing in such possibilities makes me a "stupid ass," I can live with that.

If life truely came about as a result of evolution, that's like putting all the pieces of a watch in a sandwich bag, shaking it non-stop, and eventually all the pieces just falling into place, rather than being expertly put together. And just for significance of "proof," doing it again. Have you ever done that? Or seen it done, or heard of it being done, even one time?

that proves that you dont know the bible because if you had the true revelation you would know that satan was not a snake in the garden of eden he was a man and the apple was not what he gave Eve it was SEX. A true christian will read inbetween the lines and figure it out...why would God tell satan that he would become a snake if he already was one?? Hello in reply to your comment you left. Im a born again christian not perfect but excepted by God as one of his. Now in response to this comment first of all use the right words the book of genesis is not a revelation its already happened. the book of genesis teaches that the devil is not a man but at that time a SERPENT. and your ryt it wasnt an apple it says fruit.

Adam also took a bite out of the apple. He dint have sex with that man. If it was Eve who had had sex with the devil then use your brain God would have punished her & ONLY her. I think your putting to much fake taught into the bible. NO ONE before NO christian that i know off has EVER said it was sex. God would not banish adam from a mistake that eve made.
You really do need to get your facts straight. ANYONE who tries to put in false words in the bible or meaning will be punished so i heard.
