  • kept his shirt on for once

  • I only just found this...for several months ago: thanks for this! I love looking at people's music making places. I kind of want to live in that room-world of synths and computors...

    xx

  • Went to Islington Academy last night and it was an amazing gig, nice to be with like minded and open minded people enjoying some great music! keep up the good work Alec, we need people like you !!!

  • seeing alec working with all those synths and stuff, reminds me of Jean Michel Jarre in the 70's / 80's, i love it !

ps: i wanna have that nic endo poster whats hanging on the door ( saw it in the first part of this interview, heh.. )

  • Seeing your white trainers made me smile, Alec :)

Combining a holiday to Berlin with the K17 gig - cannot wait!!!

  • I'm looking forward to this album. I love Alec's work so much. He's also really hot; one of the few guys that could make me straight. lol

  • amazing. genius

loving the TB 303 in there

Trent needs to practice a bit more

  • Lol. The "minus" is also called a hyphen.

Not making fun of your English, also I do love everything you've done.

  • yeah I know...I was still a bit out of reality from playing haha... in Germany you actually say minus for websites...(which I find annoying) ... my English is cryptic most of the times....

  • I think your English is really good and your accent is extremely sexy.

  • awesome to have more stuff coming, any chance of coming to australia

  • woo, come to aus!

  • are you serious man?

I work with instruments, I always did. This is how I write songs. What does my studio has to do with the G20 summit? oh yes, I write music, and I say what I think in the songs.

    I am a musician...and I work...what is bad about that?

    I don't believe you...

  • You never mentioned the G20 Protests once yesterday. All you talked about was your new album. or your interviews or whatever. Completely ignoring the brave individuals who stood up against the globalists and banking cartels. I thought you cared about issues like that.

  • yeah, i'm sure he could have saved the world from the financial crisis, the globalists and the banking cartels all alone, if he would just haven't been in his nice little studio. great point!

and btw, why are you sitting in front of your computer, commenting youtube videos instead of starting the riot?

  • All I was saying was that he could have atleast mentioned it. I am getting the vibe that the whole musician lifestyle is taking over the core beliefs his fan base was founded upon. I am hoping this is not the case.

and btw I am sitting in front of my computer because this is the new battlefield for peoples hearts minds and physical bodies. WE must reject and fight back against those who seek to control and manipulate the masses.

  • well...this was actually a "making of"...and it was filmed WHILE I recorded it (so not seconds before it got posted). I feel that everyone knows where I stand regarding the protests. I mentioned Athens months ago, I mentioned Berlin last week. we keep posting infos on demonstrations on the blog or on our websites.

Funny thing is if I had mentioned it in that little making of clip then you would have said "Alec is so evil . he is trying to sell records by associating himself with the protests."?

  • Not at all. I just got the vibe that you were more concerned with musician life than the issues at hand. I know it was not filmed on the same day. but when I see multiple posts about commercial projects and not one about the protests...of which you have helped inspire people to take part in..It seems wrong and out of whack. I remember when you used to reject "Critical acclaim" and the press. Just want to make sure you are still on your toes. You are the DESTROYER after all...

  • if you guys want to be knighted by me...ok here we go...I say it loud and proud. It is great that people have the guts to protest during the G20 summits. It is absolutely necessary.

My opinion on violence and rioting in general? The sad reality is that politicians only seem to listen when things escalate, then they act. Same with the media. In my opinion all sides are responsible for things getting out of control.

satisfied? I am not your enemy...and you should know that.

    Alec

  • Thank you for your clear and concise response. Removing my over emotional first post.

  • thanks man! (I know I can react exactly like you did...if I see something which seems just wrong timing sometimes... there are riots going on and this guy talking about synths...haha that is a bit weird)...all good...stay in touch!

    Alec
