Strangely, the guy who played the 'head' Nigerian has answered this (Because the Nigerian government have asked people not to go and watch it!)..he says it is a FILM, and NOT real, therefore it's FICTION.

Having said that, I thought it (In no particular order) funny, disgusting, horrific, thought provoking, powerful. And the guy in the clip critisising accents.. It's based in Jo/Berg.. Thats South Africa..the clue is in there, I'm sure of it! Great movie, go see it!

This movie was terrible! the ending was sad and lame, the plot was stupid and weak, there were no likable characters, and worst of all this was just about the most racist movie released since the birth of a nation... Seriously several blacks walked out halfway in because of the way the blacks were portrayed. with movies out like Law abiding citizen, zombieland, and heck even crank 2, why support this racist crap. its like they were saying "dont worry, aliens can possibly be worse than blacks"

Ok, my 2 cents, sry I thought this movie was horrible. I walked out of the theatre ended up seeing it again with a friend who said it was fantastic. I thought it was contrived, funny to in the same way attack of the killer tomatoes and night of the living dead was funny. It was trying too hard to be a cult film, overall I really don't understand why this is getting so many reviews that are positive. Reminds me of Blair Witch, another crappy movie with alot of marketing spin.

The movie is not really shot like cloverfield. It is portrayed like a news story or professional documentary, so the camera work is better IMO. It also has your standard movie scenes like any regular movie.

Independence Day was my favorite movie from like age 6-16.

I was blown away by this movie! It was incredible. The main guy was amazing, almost as good as the main alien. Star Trek had been my favorite movie of the summer for a few months...until District 9.
