I forgot to leave my knife in the car the last time when I visited federal building and I was given some death glares... But with this, I'll be all good.
I got this knife a while back but hadn't really taken it out of it's case until now and I noticed that when I put the money clip on it doesn't stay stationary, even tightened down it spins around the screw in the middle of it, is there something I've missed in attaching the clip or is mine just a bit faulty?
i like it :D will buy one in blue this month... but i still wonder... when it should look like a turtle... why the hell isn´t there a modell in green???? ^^
So, opening boxes, mail, peeling small fruits, small cutting task like string and tape are not practical uses? Not everyone need a large knife, if all they are doing is small cutting tasks.
There are 4 models, 2 are priced at $29 and 2 at $39. The MSRP on these knives is $39 and $49 respectively. Knives are priced according to things like materials used, design and construction, brand name, etc...not based on size. In the Turtle you have a well-built, unique, liner lock knife not available anywhere else that doubles as a pendant for a woman or a money clip for a man. I guess you have to decide if you think the price is right.
So does that hold its edge well enough for cutting paper/opening mail/packages?
I have never heard of that kind of steel before, other than the stainless.
Does the money clip act as a pocket clip too? I like to have my knives with a clip so it sits inside of my pocket but have the clip on the outside of my pocket so I have easy access to it.
Please let me know if this little knife is capable of this.
The steel is plenty good enough for the small chores it was designed for. It has an edge and yes it can do well with mail, packages paper, etc.
The clip is really a money clip as you can see by how wide it is. I suppose you could clip it to your pocket if you wanted. I watched the vid again and noticed I refered to it as a pocket clip a couple times. Yes, it could work as a pocket clip, but it really is a money clip. The knife is small enough that carrying it loose in a pocket was the design.

@NashofLON I did not have that problem. Check that you may have cross threaded the screw which is preenting it from seating all the way.

how much is it???

I wear Blue Jeans quite a bit so I think that the money clip will work better than a pocket clip because of blue jeans being thicker.
How many folded in half bills will the money clip hold?
Thanks

Can't remember if you stated in the video but what is the blade steel?
DemskeetSkeet 3 years ago
The steel is 420J2. it is a high carbon stainless at Rc 52-55.
