To all those who love Westminster. I like the Alex Salmond and SNP because whether unionsts like it or not, Westminster is NOT really working for the good of Scottish (or English )PEOPLE. If westminster was, then SNP would never have got in and their support would not be continuing to grow. I would have liked to have had a Westminster party that truly stood for the Scottish people but the SNP is the only one just now. English should start looking for real parties for themselves too.

There is the English Democrats I suppose, but although they are making small waves, they are nowhere near as influential this side of the Border as the SNP are in Scotland. Why? Because too many English people only care about themselves, and we are considered racist if we try and fly the St Georges cross or demand St Georges Day be a national holiday. My support for the SNP is not as high as it was, however, i still feel that out of the major parties they are pretty much the best on offer up here.

We are involved in what many people realise is an illegal war in Iraq, yet no one even talks about it. Alex Salmond is one of the only major figures in poltics who even mentions it. i mean where is the UK headed, really? Alex Salmond otherwise known as TWO CHEQUES has been conning the nation since May, he claimed he would not claim a salary for his MP seat at Westminster. Fact is he has not stopped claiming both salaries. Since becoming First Minister, Salmond has been on a wage of £155,279. This does not include his expenses which last year totalled £157,844. Salmond = greedy opportunist.

I see that alot of these comments presume that now Eck is in power independence is a given. Well getting the legislation for a referendum through a parliament with 49 independence supporting MSPs and 80 unionist MSPs seems unlikely. And even if they did, only 33.1% of scots voted for these independence parties. Do the maths.
